Baltimore Police: Gangs Enter Partnership to ‘Take-Out’ Officers
http://washington.cbslocal.com/2015/04/27/baltimore-police-gangs-enter-partnership-take-out-officers/
WASHINGTON — The Baltimore Police Department says they have received a credible threat that numerous gangs have entered into a partnership to “take-out” law enforcement officers.
According to the department, they have received credible information that various gangs including the Black Guerilla Family, Bloods and Crips have entered into the partnership.
“Law enforcement agencies should take appropriate precautions to ensure the safety of their officers,” the departments says in a press release.
not sure how "credible" credible means, but they should be on high alert as a matter of principle of the situation, not some dubious threat of "gang partnership".

Well, if the mayor's overall policy holds then I figure she may be willing to sacrifice a couple of cops just to sate the savages.
But of course they don't make that "credible information" available to we the people.
"Credible information" in police parlance usually means that some petty drug law offender who got caught with a dime bag for the third time decided to become a confidential informant in order to beat a 20 year bid in a state prison and started telling detectives anything the wanted to hear.
This is the kind of baseless power grab we've come to expect from law enforcement.

yeah, she's an idiot.
And when the President says there's "credible information" of a planned terrorist attack and he authorizes a drone strike or the arrest of a dozen or so young men in America, you also consider that a baseless power grab, right? Or is it just police you have a hard on for?
Is there some reason you think the Baltimore Police Department receives comparable intel to the president of the United states?
No, not at all. That wasn't the point. The point, which you clearly missed, was that the President and the administration frequently claim "actionable" intelligence but you as a citizen never see it or learn anything about it and you just take it on faith that your federal government is beyond reproach in such matters. The police, however, who are often the source of federal government intelligence internally in the US, aren't given the benefit of the doubt here, by the poster I responded to, and the expectation is that there are other motives for the announcement.
In my view, political motivations are driving those diverse attitudes.
And would do nothing. She said they gave the protesters the space to destroy things if they wanted to.
Wow.
Thank God I live in Texas. The average law abiding citizen has a pistol either on them or in their vehicle.

I watched some raw video coverage from the riot, and saw a large black guy power grab a large metal trash can full of garbage and smash it down on an innocent white woman.
Maybe there is some truth to what these creatures are planning.
I would hope the rest of the black community comes out and stops these maggots from creating more havoc in their communities.
Oh.
You mean you saw a criminal commit a crime.
Sure.
Makes perfect sense.
Criminals are committing crime so it it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that gangs have entered in to a partnership, forming something like one big supergang, for the avowed purpose of executing police officers.
Like in the Batman movies!
Sorry man, I just don't buy it.
This is just the police taking advantage of a bad situation and using nonsense scare tactics in a bid for more money and power.
I hope so too.
But I think it's pretty unlikely.
Instead, the police will have to go arrest criminals.
I hope they're able to do it without violating anyone's rights, because then they become criminals too, and I hope they're able to do it without armored vehicles, crew served weapons, or artillery support, because then they'd be Marines and not cops.
Of course most cops seem to be kinda vague on that concept, it would seem.
You know, cuz they're "sheepdogs" (LMAO).
Heya Soot. :2wave: Not necessarily so.....here in Chicago. The Cops have informants in the Organizations belonging to the Bangers. Not just some petty drug offender, for some Organizations they even have cops undercover.
I would think it is the same for Baltimore police.
And would do nothing.
Thousands of LEOs in the nation, and you damn the whole profession based on a couple edited You Tube vids.I suppose that's possible.
I guess I've just lost faith in American law enforcement, what, after watching at least a half dozen videos a day of cops abusing their power and authority, trampling on Americans' civil rights, using excessive and/or completely unnecessary force, committing murders, or being on the scene while any of the above happened and looking the other way because #thinbluelinebro.
As far as I'm concerned, cops get zero latitude these days.
The only cans and cones swung around were on cars. If she is too scared to hit the gas pedal, I cant help.If some thug started to swing a trash can at my Wife I guarantee he would get a bullet for his troubles.
I live here, and there are examples of law abiding Texas citizens using their pistol to defend themselves from atattackers.
What happens when a State allows its citizens to protect themselves and their Family and belongings is word gets around throughout the thug community.
Crimes like Robbery, Car jacking drop off and its a safer place to live.
Its one of the reasons you don't see knock down drag out riots in Texas like you do in Northern States. The idiots know that there's a good chance the person they're fixing to assault is armed.
