Avenatti: New client will go public with Kavanaugh accusations by Wednesday

Michael Avenatti, the lawyer who says he has "credible information" about more sexual misconduct allegations against Brett Kavanaugh, said Monday that he expects his new client will appear for an on-camera interview within the next 48 hours.

Avenatti told The Hill that he anticipates his client will go public with her accusation against the Supreme Court nominee in a television interview within the next two days.

Will be interesting to see what the allegations are

With Stormy yes, thing is he came thru. Now we will see on Wednesday what comes out, but I doubt it will be insignificant

That’s the problem right there. It’s not what Avenatti will say, it’s how he will come across. Just my opinion,but he has a very smug demeanor.

It's a sad fact that such a blitz is somewhat necessary to get attention on the allegations. Would Trump and Cohen have been publicly caught in all those lies if he hadn't done this with Daniels? I'd also note: the GOP is doing its best to sweep this all under the rug, so even if following some orderly process might in general be best, it doesn't make strategic sense right now.

Plus, there's shadenfreude. Even if it's not entirely mature, it's nice to see Trump losing at his own game.

That said, I'm not sure I'd have all that much hope for someone who would ignore an accuser simply because her attorney talked to the media two days before the accuser went public.
 
Lets hope this new 'victim' wasnt drunk at the time of the alleged occurrence, can at least remember how she got wherever it occurred, where it actually allegedly occurred, when it actually allegedly occurred, who was actually present when it allegedly occurred, can provide a list of witnesses who DONT refute the allegations of what actually occurred, doesnt have a history of nevertrump and liberal activism, and hasnt spent the last 2-3 months scrubbing their social media sites while preparing their story.

Maybe THIS one will be different. So far...no impartial rational person would BELIEVE anything that has been said. That doesnt mean things may or may not have happened...but if you 'believe' the stories presented, you started off wanting them to be true.
 
It's clear at this point it's time to delay the vote and do a full investigation of all allegations. This is all too important and credible to "plow through".
 
They need 48 hours because he wants to make sure she is properly coached in lies.

So far, nothing credible has been presented...by anyone.

It's clear at this point it's time to just go ahead with the vote. Then all those women and their Dem handlers can move on to the next thing.

Well...we havent heard from the third alleged victim yet have we? This one COULD present an allegation that isnt built on alcohol and is supported by actual witnesses.

Frankly...the bull**** is getting old. Present a witness that is credible FFS. If she or he is credible then they should be believed. But so far the very witnesses that the 'victims' are presenting are discrediting them.

Me...I said a few days ago...I think Trump should announce his SUPPORT of Kavenaugh but withdraw him and replace him immediately with Amy Barret and the GOP should slam the nominee through before the election. The democrats are simply trying to obstruct the nomination by any means necessary, so...play the game.

But the media blitz is what this whole thing is about. It's a matter of promoting a certain perception in the minds of the voting public, not actually a matter of seeking cause to prosecute a crime. I'm not a lawyer but my reading of the Maryland criminal statutes and court proceedings indicates that if the acts Avenetti suggests occurred actually did occur they would constitute pandering, and there is no statute of limitations on that crime in Maryland. If Avenatti was really interested in pushing this issue he should have done so through the courts, not television.
