Funny they never decided on making this move until after the recent spasm of violence. Personally, I don't care what they call their syrup but I always get distressed when companies acquiesce to political pressure and this is purely political. It's the same reason they pay extortion money to BLM. It's all about not being boycotted and hounded to death so they simply give in.

Like Woolworths, bowing to the political pressure of sit-ins causing them to integrate their lunch counters. Very distressing.

Why do you think it's happening now? For the same reason that statues are being attacked. It's part of a widespread assault by the left which has used the Floyd death as a pretext to do all the stuff they've always wanted to do and that includes making companies dance when they whistle.

Screw those statues.

Its happening now because corporations want to avoid controversy and Aunt Jemima is a good lighting rod for controversy due to her history and current events.
