There is only one God, and he is the God of Israel.
Considering Muslims, Jews and Christians all worship the same God, and I doubt God has a religion, either way I am all good.

All the faith in the world won't make one iota of difference as to whether the belief is true or false.
You continue to seek only truth through scientific evidence. I will continue to seek divine providence and we'll both be happy. My faith makes more than an iota of difference to me, and in the end, that's all that really matters.....to me.
But answer me this, could all the faith and belief of all the people in the world change the fact of any matter?
Can any number of people believe stone to nourish enough to stomach it?
it's the same god... except for all those differences. Just like me and you are the same person except for all our differences, right?
It's kinda the same base god, but the actions derived from the various practices are very different.
Correction. I seek truth by ANY means that can be shown as RELIABLE. I have no affinity toward the scientific method EXCEPT for that reason. You continue to seek only truth through scientific evidence.
Its your life. I just hope you don't start attempting to pass laws or violate the secular rights of others because you think your God wishes otherwise.I will continue to seek divine providence and we'll both be happy.
I am very much aware that YOUR faith, YOUR god, and YOUR afterlife is all about YOU. All about YOU getting into an afterlife. All about YOU feeling better and comforted. My faith makes more than an iota of difference to me, and in the end, that's all that really matters.....to me.
Muslims believe the Christian road ends in hell. Jews have varying beliefs on if there is a heaven and hell and what occurs there. The road you travel makes no difference if you wind up in the same place.
I'm not sure. But is science yet able to prove an unrestricted negative? Until that occurs, I will continue to have faith in the presence of my God.
In the end if my faith is proved wrong it will mean nothing as I still lead a good life and it was one heck of a ride. If in the end my faith is justified, same thing but even better.
Muslims believe the Christian road ends in hell.
Jews have varying beliefs on if there is a heaven and hell and what occurs there.
So apparently none of the roads end in the same place even if they do cross paths.
You just waste a huge portion of your life on meaningless exercises, give money to a corrupt religious institution, etc. Nice attempt at Pascal's Wager, but it's hopelessly fallacious.
Which marks the crossing of the line between reasonable individual and fanatic.
Some do as well as some Christians. In truth the holy books say God is the final judge no matter what we think.
So what?
Wrong. Jews have a very different understanding of the afterlife and do not fully agree that there even is one!Again in all cases God will judge. So you still end up in the same place, before the same God.
It might not be possible to disprove the existence of a God (or Gods) but many religions make specific claims that are falsifiable. That's why I'm re-exploring religion as I realized how poorly I understood the bible, and trying to take a more rational approach to it (I was an evangelical Christian).
Why do you assume that all atheists believe there is no afterlife?Atheism end game? One pleasant thought emerges.
If the atheists are right, there'll be no opportunity for them to gloat.
Thank God
So then the muslim god is a DIFFERENT than the Christian god since they judge on completely different criteria. They are NOT the same God despite your previous claim that they are.
Then the Jewish god is DIFFERENT than the Christian god since they judge on completely different criteria assuming the Jewish god even judges at all which some jews do not believe. They are NOT the same God despite your previous claim that they are.
Wrong. Jews have a very different understanding of the afterlife and do not fully agree that there even is one!
And Muslims and Christians have varying beliefs on how one gets into an afterlife and what goes on there.
Thus, the muslim, jewish, christian god are NOT the same god despite your previous claim that they are.
Furthermore, do not be so foolish as to assume that Jews and Muslims understand the old Testament as Christians do. If you ever talk to a Jew you'll find out how VERY different their understanding of God and scripture is even if you entirely ignore the New testament and Jesus. It is a MYTH that Christianity is merely an additional book on top of Jewish beliefs. Christians have a RADICALLY differing take on the OT.
