At Protests, Guns Are Doing the Talking

Rittenhouse didn;t shoot until he panicked. Confronted? Confronted with being yelled at. A plastic bag being thrown.
THATS a need for deadly force. Sorry.. but not according to the law.

No religion on this. Just pointing out the absurdity of your posts.
Cripes You got Rittenhouse going to protect private property with an AR 15. Which means he knowingly was going their anticipating conflict.. and planning on it.
And he panicks and points an AR 15 at a person but you don;t think that represents a deadly threat.

but a guy who may more may not be "carrying concealed"... mysteriously is?

Look.. we get it. You are trying to extract yourself from the absurdity of your argument.

Rittenhouse didn't shoot anyone when a plastic bag was thrown at him.

And all the evidence shows he used his AR-15 to protect himself. Which the jury found was justified.

Criminals in general do respect authority. They avoid it. They leave when they see it.

Criminals respecting authority:

Come now. How silly are you willing to go with this? I mean its amusing and all..

I don’t know. It depends on how silly you think rioters torching police stations is.

Yawn.
So you support defunding the police right? Surely they are useless according to you.

You’ve repeatedly made this claim with absolutely no evidence to support it. The idea is to have an armed presence that serves as a deterrent, not anticipation for an exciting night of Call of Duty.

For the most part, cops are great. It’s the wokie, pandering politicians and chiefs who place them in administrative straitjackets who are the problem. I wish them luck, but anyone signing up these days to be a cop in a liberal city like L.A. or Chicago is a moron.

Of course I have. He asserted that he went to protect public property. How did he plan to do that? What is an armed presence.. without the threat to use it? That deterrence is by threat. Its interjecting yourself into a conflict.

No no no. As you just said... cops are useless. Cops don;t protect you. In fact.. it appears you think that an 18 year old with no training and an AR 15 knows more about protecting private property than the police.

Where were you the last few years when Antifa....
Well, I wasn't in "Pindostan."

Antifa -- the one excuse that fits all. And they were the ones attacking the U.S. Capitol on Jan 6, right?

I’m not excusing their behavior, but they’ve been arrested and jailed by the hundreds. How many Antifa have been arrested for their violent protests, including their attacks on the White House and Uniformed Secret Service officers, banks, shopping malls, monuments…. Nothing close.

They’re great when they’re present and given the freedom to actually enforce the law and do their jobs, but that’s the problem. They often aren’t, and they often don’t, as occurred around the country during the George Floyd rioting when they were frequently ordered to stand back and let businesses burn under the theory that trying to prevent anarchy would only, um, inflame the situation and make things worse. So, naturally, some people felt it necessary to fill the void left by the AWOL cops.

Do you understand the concept of deterrence? Of course, a deterrent is only effective if it’s credible. But that doesn’t mean Rittenhouse went to Kenosha with the intent of engaging in a deadly confrontation any more than the United States intends to nuke Russia or North Korea.

Yeah..you conveniently forgot that he only tried..tried to put his hand on the firearm when it was pointed right at him.
So it was justified. Also he did a little more than try he had burn marks on his hand how do you get burn marks from this without touching it that doesn't make sense.

This is a rather silly argument. Being an idiot, does not remove his absolute right to self defense. Kyle was a moron for going there in the first place. No question. But that is entirely irrelevant to the fact that every person he shot, was absolutely without question, legally and justifiably shot.

No..they did not tell you their reasoning.
Nice try though.

Their unanimous decision found him not guilty on all charges, presumably by considering evidence and points of law. Which is a more credible presumption than your idea that they all wanted to mother Rittenhouse or something. That smacks of conspiracy.

Didn't you know jaeger19 is the ultimate authority on everything. All juries are stupid compared to him in fact all people on the planet are dumber than he is didn't you know this?

My little comments supreme know of all is tongue in cheek he actually believes it.

I believe ol pedo Joe has a plan. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
If he does it's mostly just saber rattling to fire up the base. After that shit he pulled with the student loan forgiveness knowing that that was a lie. He's going to need to work hard to regain anything but apathy.

Actually under the law.. it kind of does remove your right to self defense. You cannot run into a riot with a firearm and when stuff goes bad start shooting people. You cannot start a confrontation and then decide,, gosh I am scared, I should shoot.
Ever person he shot was NOT justified. In no way in hell. Unless. you ignore absolutely all of the facts.

You don;t get to put the barrel of your weapon in my face because you panic and then when I try to save my life, shoot me claiming 'self defense.
You don;t get to point a rifle at me.. and then when I try to defend myself with a firearm, shoot me claiming self defense.
When you point a rifle at me and I react by trying to hit you with my "skateboard".. you don;t get to shoot me and claim self defense.

HE was the imminent and deadly threat because HE POINTED A DEADLY WEAPON Before anyone else made anything even like a dangerous move.

OR.. and more likely since both the experts in the law.. the judge and the district attorney realized that the evidence pointed to Rittenhouse breaking the law.
What is more credible... that the judge and the district attorney have no clue about the law and self defense.
Or that the jury didn;t want to convict a kid because even though he was in the wrong... he shot a child molester and a convicted felon. ?

Nope.. just have facts on my side.

How long was he supposed to engage in a physical fight with the man who had pursued him while he was running away, finally closing the distance to arms length and lunging at him?

Would it be the same length of time for a young woman? How about an elderly woman?
