Hope this is irony or sarcasm.. because this stretch of track is designed for high speed trains that go 310 KPH, and the train in question is a "slower train" regional train that only goes up to around 200 KPH. It is also relatively new technology (as in they came into service the last decade) .. where as the bullet trains in Japan are actually old technology from the 1970s I believe
