As Trump dithers over Ukraine, Russia’s military edge weakens, officials say

So.

No link.

I gave you a link.

Proving again why I normally don't waste my time doing links.

Not one mention of "forever war" in your citation.

Oh, they are never going to call it that. But that's effectively what it is. The war has been in stalemate since 2022. Yet Kamala just wanted to keep throughing good money after bad.

Yep. And they all start with "Trump".

Oh, I agree, Trump is a huge problem. It's what happens when Democracy fails, when people don't take the choice seriously.

How many "Conservatives" voted for Trump knowing he was a buffoon, knowing his first term was a disaster, but simply couldn't bring themselves to vote for Kamala, no matter what.

On any other topic, I would agree that Trump is the problem.

In this one, he's right, this war is a waste of resources and materials. Of course, he doesn't have the skills to bring it to a successful conclusion.

The biggest problem is Putin the fascist dictator you love

You need to go through remedial English again, comrade. Your last course wasn't thorough enough.

Thank you for confirming "Kamala ran on the "Let's do the "Forever War" in Ukraine" was a lie.

Have you found with trembling delight to your utmost satisfaction a couple of typos, comrade ? Ukie fans haven’t revealed an acceptable command of English so far …

No, Russia would likely do the same thing regardless of who was in charge.

You need to go through remedial English again, comrade. Your last course wasn't thorough enough.
Naw, I just don't bother spell-checking everything I write here. I often
Not his fault, all the English teachers have been sent to the meat grinder at the front lines

Um, that's right, an American can't possibly think the Forever War is a terrible idea.

Oh, wait, no Trump won on ending the Forever War. Whoops. I guess people just ain't flying those blue and white flags anymore.

Thank you for confirming "Kamala ran on the "Let's do the "Forever War" in Ukraine" was a lie.

Except that's exactly what she did. I suspect if she came out and said, "I'm going to keep sending money to Ukraine because Joe and his family are going to keep getting their cut!" she'd have lost even bigger than she did.

But she still ran on supporting Ukraine and she still lost, because Americans are a little tired of that shit.

It's not like they can refute the points that I am making, is it? All they can do is scream "Putin bad, Putin bad", and then have fantasies about how we can "win" by simply throwing more money at the problem.

I do actually feel bad about typos at 6 AM on a Saturday, though.

Your lie is noted.

Thank you for confirming it.

If you are going to avoid substantive debate, there's little point in talking to you.

Kamala took your position. That we needed to support Zelenskyy, no matter what.

Trump took mine, that a peace solution should be forced on Ukraine.

Trump won.

Americans just aren't as into this war as they were in 2022 when everyone was flying their little flags.

No, Russia would likely do the same thing regardless of who was in charge.
Probably not, once he is shown the window his successor no matter how evil can use it as an excuse to get out of Ukraine and avoid being shown the window themselves.

Lying =/= Substantive debate

Don't get paid for accuracy, just volume? It wasn't a "typo" or "spelling error". It was a misuse of form, an unfamiliarity with etymology. The reality is that lies don't take thought at all. That's how you produce so many.

You keep having these fantasies that Russia is going to stop being Russia.

Lying =/= Substantive debate

Opinions you don't like aren't lies. If you are this committed to the cause, you should consider giving up your citizenship and enlisting in the Ukrainian Army.

When I get paid (and yes, I do get paid for other writing projects), I take the time to review and spell-check every sentence.

This is more of entertainment, so, no, I don't put in the same effort. You just aren't worth it.

The fact that you get this upset when someone contradicts your narrative is satisfaction enough. The way you end a stupid policy is by questioning it. You guys have yet to give me a compelling reason why we should throw hundreds of billions into Ukraine when our own roads are falling apart.

No, Russia would likely do the same thing regardless of who was in charge.

Highlly doubtful. Only siloviki like Putin pine for the USSR (and in the case of Putin Imperial Russia).

Kamala took your position. That we needed to support Zelenskyy, no matter what.

Americans with a functioning moral compass support Ukraine. Trump supports Ukraine (this week) because his transactional needs are being satisified (PURL)

There are also practical/pragmatic reasons.....

Opinion of and by itself isn't a lie.

Opinions can contain lies.

As you have demonstrated.

Um, Putin is tame compared to Brezhnev or Stalin.

My moral compass said that prolonging a war that has ground down to a stalemate and kills hundreds of thousands a year is wrong.

As for practical reasons, wrecking our own economy and risking World War III don't seem very practical.

We've driven Russia deeper into China's orbit. This isn't a good thing.

Why, because Autopen said so? you know, the guy whose family was getting rich from graft from Ukraine?

This isn't our problem.

Who is this "Autopen" and why do I give a damn what was said?

You keep having these fantasies that Russia is going to stop being Russia.
You keep having these fantasies about fascism expanding and taking over the world
Your desire for a dystopian future is well noted

Who is this "Autopen" and why do I give a damn what was said?

You know, the guy with tapioca for brains and lent out his autopen to make decisions.

And THAT is some sort of a plus? Just last week.....

Town in Shock After Russian Drone Kills Whole Family (village of Chernechchyna)

Russian strike in Lviv region kills entire family (the village of Lapaivka)

THAT is what you are supporting comrade.

War is hell, man!

The Comedian is launching drones into Russia, but you are probably fine with that.

What I support is a sensible peace, since victory on the battlefield isn't going to happen for either side.

But failing that, if people are too stupid to do that, I want the US to not be involved because IT'S NOT OUR PROBLEM!!!

You keep having these fantasies about fascism expanding and taking over the world
Your desire for a dystopian future is well noted

I'm more worried about Fascism in this country than Fascism in the Donbass, which again ISN'T MY PROBLEM!!!
