As Trump dithers over Ukraine, Russia’s military edge weakens, officials say

Germany under the Nazis invaded the USSR/Russia and butchered their people, destroyed their cities and generally raising hell.

Russia under Putin invaded Ukraine and butchered their people, destroyed their cities and are generally raising hell.

Hmmmmmm

Motivation appears different.

Actually, the war started because the Allies refused to recognize legitimate German territorial claims in Poland. Then Hitler and Stalin cut a deal and waited for the moment they could stab each other in the back.

Russia has legitimate territorial claims in Ukraine.

Or he saw the way the EU absolutely screwed Greece, and why the UK wanted to get the hell out of it, and said, "No, thanks."
Alternative reality story that goes agains the actual facts
Again, just because you can do something doesn't make it a good idea.

Is Estonia really worth World War III?
No it isnt which is why its a good idea to be in NATO as the fascist scumbag Putin will not atttack Estonia and start WW3
Yes, the US did make such a promise, which it repeatedly broke by admitting new members into NATO when they should have been winding it down.
No it didnt, it floated the idea but never made such a promise sorry but RT is lying to you as they always do

The only one breaking treaties here is Putin the one who started the war

Russia signed on the Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances which prohibited the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom and the United States from threatening or using military force or economic coercion against Ukraine
Putin broke that one.

Russia Also signed the Treaty of Friendship fixed the principle of strategic partnership, the recognition of the inviolability of existing borders, the respect for territorial integrity and a mutual commitment not to use its territory to harm the security of each other
Putin broke that one too.

Hasmish spent 10 years in the US Army. I spent 4 years in the glorious USMC.

And you @JoeB131 ? What's your military vitae?
My son did 5 years in the marines.

Having seen both, if I could do it all again I'd have gone marines. Nothing wrong with the army, mind you, but it's the difference between owning a Toyota Corolla and owning a Dodge Charger.

OR- He made the right call on where Ukraine should head, and the Obama administration conspired with the oppossition to trigger a coup.

11 years in the Army and reserves, discharged at the rank of Staff Sergeant.

For supposed veterans, you can't seem to read a map.

After a coup toppled Ukraine's legitimate government. A coup encouraged and facilitated by Barack Obama.

Oh, looks like the Comedian went home from NATO empty-handed.

Russia’s invasion of the country, the main topic of recent NATO summits, seemed to slide down the list of priorities at this year’s annual meeting, which ended on Wednesday. President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine was not feted as in years past. He was not even the center of attention.

Instead, President Trump took main stage at The Hague, where the summit was held. Mr. Trump has made no secret of his disdain for NATO, his desire for members to stop relying too heavily on U.S. military support and his admiration of President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia.

The summit’s official declaration mentioned nothing about Ukraine joining the alliance, a longstanding point of discussion. A meeting between Mr. Zelensky and Mr. Trump yielded no specific promises about peace talks, although Mr. Trump said it was possible that the United States would send more Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine.
Mark Rutte, the secretary-general of NATO, said in a news conference that the alliance continued to support Ukraine “on its irreversible path to NATO membership.” But the official declaration only restated the alliance’s “enduring sovereign commitments to provide support to Ukraine, whose security contributes to ours.”

Conspired?

How did they conspire to have Yanukovich turn against the will of the people of Ukraine?

Please stop lying.

The protests led to Yanukovich running away from office. The legitimate government then removed him from office.

How did Barack Obama conspire to effect his removal?

And you managed to make all that time worthless, by sucking up to Russia.

Well done, that man.

Yes. The 1.37M freedom-loving people of Estonia are worth it.

You forgot to subtract the despised Russians. Some 22% - 25% of Estonia is Russian. So the ones you consider worth saving is more like a million

What is the proper name for ethnic Russians in Estonia?

Estonians.

Why subtract people because of their language and heritage? Do they not deserve to be free?
