Actually, the war started because the Allies refused to recognize legitimate German territorial claims in Poland. Then Hitler and Stalin cut a deal and waited for the moment they could stab each other in the back.

Russia has legitimate territorial claims in Ukraine.

Putin broke that one.

Russia Also signed the Treaty of Friendship fixed the principle of strategic partnership, the recognition of the inviolability of existing borders, the respect for territorial integrity and a mutual commitment not to use its territory to harm the security of each other
Putin broke that one too.

My son did 5 years in the marines.

Having seen both, if I could do it all again I'd have gone marines. Nothing wrong with the army, mind you, but it's the difference between owning a Toyota Corolla and owning a Dodge Charger.

A meeting between Mr. Zelensky and Mr. Trump yielded no specific promises about peace talks, although Mr. Trump said it was possible that the United States would send more Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine.
Mark Rutte, the secretary-general of NATO, said in a news conference that the alliance continued to support Ukraine “on its irreversible path to NATO membership.” But the official declaration only restated the alliance’s “enduring sovereign commitments to provide support to Ukraine, whose security contributes to ours.”

The protests led to Yanukovich running away from office. The legitimate government then removed him from office.

How did Barack Obama conspire to effect his removal?
