As a declaration of war, yes. But the act itself was terrorism. Calculated and deliberate targeting of civilians is what Hamas does. War seeks to destroy the enemy's capacity to fight, and civilians are invariably, but not by design, caught in the crossfire as collateral damage.

Sooner or later you guys need to admit the blatantly obvious.

No, but they often suffer from the crimes the parents commit if those crimes effect the events of their lives. The bigger threat isn't Trump or his voters, it's democrats and what they allowed to happen under Democrat Presidents, and democrats in the Congress as well as judges in the courts. The damage of a weak Presidnet created many on the problems whe are seeing. Biden allowed open borders and didn't vet those coming in. Biden did a terrible job on the Afghanistan withdrawal and led our enemies to believe they would not suffer the consequences of their acts against us or our allies. Biden said DON'T but had no teeth and refused to react when aour troops were hit in the ME by terror groups backed by Iran and refused to hold illegals responsible for entering the country illegally. He incouraged violent behavior through weak reaction to it. He encouraged the assault on women's rights by supporting transgendered women to participate against biological women.
All of that shows weakness not strength to do the right things. In this country we have been allowing bad conduct to go largely unpunished for far too long.

Wait, nobody in America today had any say in slavery, so why are we still talking about it? Why are some in the democrat party talking reparations? Sadly the people who made decisions cause the outcomes of the actions they sanction and often it's later generations who have to fix it. So far nobody in Gaza is trying to oust the terror group.
 
The situation in Gaza is the making of Hamas. Hamas was placed in power in Gaza in 2007 by the vote of the people. I seem to remember some democrats on this site that keep saying Trump puppets are responsible for all Trump has done. I'm very proud of most of what he's done. Are you proud of Hamas?
 
I'm pretty certain the citizens in Gaza, who elected Hamas to govern are not suffering the hellish conditions of the magnitude of the hundreds of hostages that Hamas took and held and many are still being held.
