As Late-Night Hosts Attack, Trump Wants 'Equal Time'

Isn't that what Fox "News" is for?....To go out and babble praise of trump 24/7...They start early with Fox and friends so what is he complaining about?

Your right, they do.
However when we have to rely on the zealots to remain totally factual, and I can only recall several stories that were either misleading from them. Against the ones we can call out against CNN that were near total lies, or misdirection.

I do like that I can look to them to at least stay objective when something is good for the country, or to hear their own opinion on what is right & wrong without them really lording it over us.

Though they can go overboard sometimes.

Also I like seeing that face Tucker makes when some liberal supporter comes on, runs their mouth, and shows everyone how horribly twisted their little resist movement is at its core.

The laughs just don't stop.

That could be a factor, but really what kind of obvious jokes can make about Obama? Clinton you had the affairs, Bush you had the speech patterns and more over the top disasters like the Iraq war and the lead up to it, even Al Gore had the robotic speech patterns to make of. With Obama, I do not see the same opportunities for easy jokes.

Stuttering, Obamacare, saluting with a mocha in his damn hand (or not saluting at all).. just to name a few.

So what? Late night talk shows are under no obligation to be fair or even handed.

Agreed, they are comedy shows plain and simple.
Even John Stewart said not to come to him for news, that there were people who did jobs just for that. So anyone that watches Conan, Kimmel, Oliver, or any of the others should know better by now.

As Late-Night Hosts Attack, Trump Wants 'Equal Time'

President Trump took to Twitter Saturday to air a familiar complaint, with a twist. Trump says there's so much negative coverage of him on news and late-night talk shows that he wonders whether the networks should give him "equal time" to present his side of things.

The Snowflake-in-Chief is playing the victim again. Not exactly news.

Its funny, Snowflake also happens to be the term applicable for about 90% of the people that gripe about him.
Not to dissuade anything here, its still rather funny to see little topics like this one pop up from time to time.

Its just a little saddening when people waste all their time about him when there are far more important things going on around the world.

So I looked at it.....I dont know what Trump was trying to do, nor do I care.

The mocha thing is ridiculous nit picking, IMO, I think its more funny to make fun of people who thinks that is a big deal. I do think his speech patterns can be kinda funny, but not as funny as Trump's. I do remember the Daily Show making fun of the Obamacare websites not working well, but Obamacare is generally too dry and technical to the subject of a lot of mirth.

Can you come up with some clever jokes about that stuff, that are better then that "liburls suck, ha!" Because I find most conservative attempts at satire to be dreadful.

Coming from a former serviceman, the mocha salute isn't as much nit picking as it is infuriating.

Calling it fun is abuse of the english language, a very common problem now, usually done with the intent to deceive.

Blows me away how you can project dishonesty onto someone else while bowing down to Trump - the most immoral deceptive, dishonest person currently in public life.

No not at all Weinstein is a political animal that has been photographed with many Democrats. He bundled money for Hillary Clinton in 2016 and headed fundraisers, he has given thousands of dollars to big names in the Democrat party recently. Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), and Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), all of whom are cited as potential contenders for the 2020 presidential race. Chucky Schumer of NY has been a big recipient of Weinstein's donations. and the list goes on......he maximized his connections to the political elite like few others in the business.
In 2013 Weinstein appeared at a career workshop that First Lady Obama hosted for high school students. She referred to him as “a wonderful human being, a good friend and just a powerhouse.” The Obamas’ daughter, Malia, interned at the Weinstein Co. This is all on video. But you won't hear late night comedians dwelling on it. Oh no. But if it were a Republican or a Trump joke you betcha.

Again... Clinton, Obama, Wiener, Spitzer, etc, etc, etc.. all punchlines on nighttime talks shows. And they deserved it. You obviously know this is true and choose to ignore it because it flies in the face of your current narrative. I'm sorry, but you're not convincing me. Once Trump stops doing childish, dishonest, petulant, and evil stuff, so will stop the jokes.

Trump brings it on himself.

That is your cue that you have failed to understand something(s).

And I think it is nit picking though, I think trying to make a joke over that might same more petty then actually funny.

Its funny you can type that about Trump, but somehow forget to at least give Obama, Hillary, Bernie and a few others their honorable mentions.

Also I am sorry to have to explain to you, that siding with someone is not bowing. Hell most of us don't even really like Trump all that much as well, but the amount of frothing at the mouth stupidity he causes in people these days is too hard of a treat to pass up.

We like a few of the things he is doing, not everything.

I lot of people think they are, fewer by far are.

WE USED TO BE BETTER

Just because people don't see things the way you do by no means signifies you are any better than them.

What you and several other folks continue to deny is that when Hillary, Bernie, Obama, etc were in the public eye making public statements they were the subject of jokes and ridicule as well. Hillary with her whiny new book were was the punchline on many "liberal" late night talk shows and she deserved it.

Again, when Trump says or does something dishonest or stupid, which unfortunately he does sickeningly frequently, he's going to be called out for it.

That's how life works.

Pot meet Kettle...

Brilliant - learned that in middle school didjya? :applaud

I didn't claim to be "better".

Will Trump supporters false equivalencies ever cease?

If that's life, then can the rest of you please come back to reality?

We have traumatic events going on all over the world, a recent terror attack in Vegas, Doctor Evil's Korean doppelganger and all kids these days can do is bitch about an orange mans tweets.

This **** is getting old.
