Aside from the fact that his "number" is total crap, I haven't the foggiest idea why you shouldn't accept it uncritically (the way that he did when someone else told him that they had heard that another person had mentioned that someone they knew believed that that was what the number was).

Here is the latest CDC chart that I have that is showing vaccinated deaths and unvaccinated deaths.

As you can see the unvaccinated deaths are in the 725/100,000 area and the vaccinated deaths are in the 125/100,000 area.

That means that the "vaccinated deaths" are about 14.71% of the total.

What would be a REALLY interesting number to have (but it simply doesn't exist) is the ratio of "people who caught COVID-19 from a vaccinated person" to "people who caught COVID-19 from a vaccinated person". If I had to take a wild guess, I'd put the likely ration in the 1 :: 1,000 range.
