Around 10,000 more COVID deaths in the last 7 days. When is enough, enough?

i get so tired of having to post this same stuff over and over and over...

Different COVID-19 strategies in the Nordic countries - Nordic Life Science – the leading Nordic life science news service

Caughtin The...and it wasn't just Finland and Norway showing the damning results caused by Sweden's lunacy. The Netherland, Greenland and other countries demonstrated similar results proving how horrible Aweden's herd immunity approach backfired. People that think Sweden did the correct thing are pathetic morons, putting it mildly.

As of 12 hours ago Sweden had 1.17 million cases and 14,993 deaths - you have different numbers than that?
Swden has a high vaccination rate. Last year there were no vaccinations. As I said over and over again. their per capita death rate in 2020 was 12 times higher than their neighboring countries. what exactly is so hard to understand here?

True.

But it is irrelevant to my point.

Lots of people here (and in the world) are saying that lockdowns ARE the best way to handle Covid-19.
100%...full stop.

The fact that many countries that did lockdown did far worse than Sweden on Covid-19 death rates proves conclusively that lockdowns are not automatically more effective at lowering Covid-19 death rates.
No a lot of people are NOT saying that herd immunity like Sweden did was the right thing to do. Only the radical right wing fringe says shit like that. Sweden's approach was down right criminal and the Swedish people are pissed off beyond belief at the lack of leadership there. quit spreading bullshit.

How many of these deaths are from the vaccinated? It’s 2k. So 20% were vaccinated
Yup. 75% of us have had at least one shot. When 100% of us have besn vaccinated, ALL the deaths will be vaccinated people.
But you know what? There won't be 10,000 of them a week. There will be a lot less. It could have been 2,000, not 10,000 last week. And a whole lot less people suffering in the hospital. Wouldn't that be better?

That's a "yes" then - you have different numbers.

Clearly you did not even read my post.
I said NOTHING about people talking about herd immunity as the right thing to do.
Clearly, you are just here to spread ad hominem's and strawman and act like a troll.
I have no time for people like that.
Welcome to my ignore list.

And BTW - you clearly have no idea what you are speaking of.

And you clearly either don't know or - more likely, IMO - don't care that lockdowns probably killed more people than they saved.

Wow...your post was almost completely erroneous and silly.
It will be my pleasure to ignore you from now on.

Bye now.

^^^
Listen to the Trumpist try to extend the pandemic as long as possible, not caring (unless it's worse than merely not caring) who he gets killed in the process.
Tell that to your president, who has now killed more people than you say Trump did in less time.

More death and suffering might be better?
It's strange how people like you are SO bent out of shape about Covid-19 and trying to force everyone to do what you say.

Yet none of you seem to care that even more people died of TB since 2018 than Covid-19.

In 2018, '19 and '20 alone?
TB killed 4.8 million people worldwide.

As the coronavirus death toll mounts, global health authorities are reminding that tuberculosis is deadliest infectious disease in the world. Over a million deaths are reported every year.

Deaths from TB

Number of deaths, that is mortality from TB for children, adults and in each "high burden" country. Figures for both HIV positive and HIV negative people.

Makes one think that the only reason you people care about one and not the other is that the politicians and the MSM tricked you into caring more about one than the other.

Whaddabout TB? :ROFLMAO:

More accusations of trolling...

🤣

You want to answer the question or not?

If not?

Your opinion otherwise means nothing to me.
You realize TB has killed less people in three years than COVID has killed in one, right?

You recognize that TB is not a disease you need to be concerned about in the US or other developed nations, right?

Why do I have a feeling the first time you ever read about TB was this article, which you probably got from a wingnut website?

Either answer my statement/question or I do not answer yours.

And your problem is that you are assuming that I am saying that no lockdowns are better than lockdowns.
I don't care about that.

Lockdowns are against the Constitution.

Plus, there was lots of data to indicate that had they gone on longer?
That they might have ended up killing FAR more people than they could possibly have 'saved'.

Plus the global depression they caused.
Plus all the extra, domestic violence victims and suicides.

That means they were VERY wrong.

Now, with all of that?
The ONLY way they are even remotely tolerable is if there is 100% proof that they were effective.
But no such proof exists.

So...that sews it.
The lockdowns were a mistake.
They caused GIGANTIC hardship and caused many deaths.
Yet there is NO unbiased, factual proof that they saved as many lives as they 'took'.

That is my point.
Ah. yo uare misreading the unicif paper. It's 'in developing countries'. As far as I can see, Europe and the USA are not develpping countries.

Care to fail more?

You really should vet your sources. Just because some group calls itself an 'instittute' doesn't mean they are credible. And, when it comes to Elon Musk, who give a damn?

Manhattan Institute - Right Bias - Conservative - Republican - Not Credible
Factual Reporting: Mixed - Not always Credible or Reliable

RIGHT BIAS

These media sources are moderately to strongly biased toward conservative causes through story selection and/or political affiliation. They may utilize strong loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes), publish misleading reports, and omit information that may damage conservative causes. Some sources in this category may be untrustworthy. See all Right Bias sources.

  • Overall, we rate the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research Right Biased based on editorial and policy positions that routinely favor a conservative perspective. We also rate them Mixed for factual reporting due to a lack of transparency with funding, use of poor sources, and a failed fact check.

You gave a damn or you would not have replied to the post.
Perhaps you should learn what words mean before you used them?

And where is your link to disprove my link?

My guess is you have none.

So far you are 0-2.

Care to make it 0-3?

Care to learn reading coprehension?

I never said they were in America and the EU.
I was talking globally.

Duh.
Yet, when you talk 'globally,' you have to look at the specific counties circumstances. You have to be more precise.
Try to fail letss.
