Be interesting to see how this turns out. Will the university respect our judicial system or cave to socialist who have no respect for it or for our constitution. What they decide will be very telling.

"The Arizona State University Students for Socialism, Students for Justice in Palestine, Multicultural Solidarity Coalition, and MECHA de ASU are all calling on the Arizona State University administration to take action against Rittenhouse by withdrawing him from the university and releasing a statement against him."

The four groups are calling him "Murderer Kyle Rittenhouse."

While I appreciate their passion, this isn't their call.

they can say whatever they want. doesn't mean they'll get it.

but this is the kind of story we get instead of the women who were killed by their partners/ex partners yesterday or huge thievery. it's all so calculated (the stories that are left out).

Of course it is, as are ALL stories the media puts forth. And yet, we still have posters here eating all kinds of shit their biased media sources (from their perspectives 'side') give them.

Rittenhouse is taking classes on line. Hardly an on campus presence.

imo, the groups have a right to voice their views. The court disagrees with them. They don't have to like the jury finding, but that is how it works in the US.

I suggest they move on and get back to their studies.

I can't disagree with this, although I do understand their concern. But it's really not worth the time and energy. Usually there are two things that happen with a person like KR. Either he gets straightened out and moves on with his life, or he screws up again and gets caught again. Although I don't agree, like it or not, the jury has spoken.

Do you not see the underlying problem with your view of KR?

Of course you don't agree, you already had your mind made up well in advance of the jury selection even.

If anything this will give Kyle some added ammo if he ever files defamation suits against the various media outlets and celebrities.

I agree it's not their call but their so called "passion" shows disrespect for our judicial system and our constitution. I've no respect for that.
Lets wait and see which side this university comes down on. If they kick Kyle out they should be shut down.

Defamation lawsuits against who? How would this help in a defamation lawsuit?

The Constitution? You mean the one that the Trump supporters had no respect for on January 6 when they were trying to hang the Vice President for performing his Constitutional duty to certify the election?

LMAO... On what planet is this libel?
Putting our a poster calling someone a "murderer" is libel per se. It does not call him a "killer," but a "murderer." Publicly calling someone a criminal is libel per se.

This I don't agree with. He's was acquitted. He's not a criminal in the eyes of the law. Admit him and wait until he screws up, then expel him.

And rest assured - he carried a military weapon to a crime scene - he's judgement is terrible - he will screw up!

Living in Arizona ASU is part of the local news. One the groups complaining about Rittenhouse was in the news not so long ago about a couple of white students in the multicultural center. They objected to their presence because one had a sticker on the laptop they disliked (police lives matter).

In the case of KR, I may not agree with the court decision but the jury decided. I didn't agree with the OJ decision in the criminal trial, but the jury decided.
If it was not brought out in the KR trial I doubt the group would have known KR was taking on line courses. Time for that group to move on.
