Arizona’s Dangerous Republican Ticket Threatens Democracy

Maybe like this: https://ballot-access.org/2022/04/24/how-france-is-able-to-count-votes-so-fast/

There is enough suspicion already to warrant an investigation.
Investigations require more than suspicion.
Who says we need "voting machines"? We just need honest people counting votes.

But hey...I'd be happy to have voting machines that cannot be hacked.
Every hand count has matched the tabulated results. The machines are rigorously controlled and accurate. You sound like a 2004 Democrat.

- Tell us what was suspicion you are talking about.
Maybe we should investigate Lake's campaign team. They started the faud claim before the election. I suspect they did something to know that.:giggle:

As far as France. The majority of States would have to change their voting laws and when we vote.
I doubt in some States people would approve doing away with mail in voting.

Really?

Tell that to the House dog and pony show.

Every hand count has matched the tabulated results.
Actually, that's not true, but you go ahead and believe. That's what the criminals want you to do.

The machines are rigorously controlled and accurate.
There are so many cases that prove that statement is a lie.

Here's one: https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2022/08/go-machine-failures-reported-michigan/

Don't worry, Maricopa County and a couple others are doing everything they can to keep their ability to conduct election fraud.

Hell, right now...days after the primary election...Maricopa County STILL cannot manage to count all of the votes. I think they are withholding the results until they can figure out a way to take the nomination away from Lake.
Who says we need "voting machines"? We just need honest people counting votes.

But hey...I'd be happy to have voting machines that cannot be hacked.

You are aware how long a hand count would take, right?

Okay. Let's investigate both Lake's campaign and Maricopa County.

The majority of States don't seem to have a problem counting votes like Maricopa County has. (that IS who we are talking about, after all) So only one state...Arizona...needs to change their laws.

Arizona State Rep. Mark Finchem is one of the last people you’d want administering elections in a presidential battleground, yet Republicans nominated him Tuesday to be Arizona’s secretary of state, in another victory for denialists backed by former president Donald Trump.

He (Finchem) is a member of the Oath Keepers and was photographed outside the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

Kari Lake, narrowly leads in the primary for governor. Ms. Lake and Mr. Finchem, working with “My Pillow guy” Mike Lindell, have filed a lawsuit in federal court aimed at blocking Arizona from using vote-counting machines.

Ms. Lake said she wouldn’t have fulfilled her legal duty to certify Arizona’s results in 2020 and attacks Gov. Doug Ducey (R) for doing so.

Arizona Republicans also nominated venture capitalist Blake Masters as their challenger to Sen. Mark Kelly (D). Masters claims he thinks Mr. Trump won in 2020 and has even suggested that Jan. 6 was a “false-flag” operation.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2022/08/03/arizona-republicans-finchem-lake-dangerous/

Arizona is roughly 1/3 Democrat, 1/3 Republican, and 1/3 "Other". They have 2 Democratic Senators and a Republican Governor. Clearly the Republicans control the 2 Houses of the legislature and the Governor. And they have been busy passing far-right legislation and doing absolutely insane things such as the Cyber Ninja Audit.

Arizona will tell us a lot this November. We'll see if the "other" voters in the state reject the insanity of the right.
I’ve read several articles over the last month or two about Democrats voting in Republican primaries. Voting for Trump backed candidate with the idea that they’d be easier to defeat in the general election. I think they might be right on that. But the looming question is, what if I’m and those democrats who are voting for Trumpers are wrong?

Okay. Let's investigate both Lake's campaign and Maricopa County.

ok
Now what was the suspicious activity you claim is worth an investigation in the 2020 primary in Arizona?
Give a specific example.

OK, just for grins let's say Maricopa County is cheating here. In who's favor are they going to cheat?

Keri Lake? She's Trump's Choice. She's also the choice of many Democrats who would rather run Hobbs against her than Robson.

Karrin Robson? She's the GOP candidate who is not completely bonkers and likely harder for the Democrats to beat.

Who says we need "voting machines"? We just need honest people counting votes.

Then you are fine with the tabulators used in Maricopa County. It has been proven the system is air gapped. A fact that some auditors failed to mention. :giggle:

Who gets to determine "who is honest" when hand counting the ballots?

It's a gamble. Some Democrat donors are supporting far-right Republicans. In Arizona Lake is an example and in Pennsylvania Mastriano is an example. If either of these win, those donors will, indeed, regret what they have done. Personally, although I think the strategy is a bit sleazy, I'm for it in each of these two cases. If the majority of people in those two states want to elect a nut, let 'em. I'm betting the majority doesn't want a nut as governor.

Well you know, if the "progressives" (read commies) dislike the Grand Canyon state so much, they can always go back to California or Michigan or where ever the hell they came from.

It doesn't take the internet to hack a voting machine...just a criminal.

We don't have to determine "who is honest". We need to determine who is a criminal.

I'm actually encouraged to see Republicans backing candidates who are enthusiastic about not only breaking the law, but being vocal in their intent to do so. 😆

We don't need any further advice from California, thanks anyway.

Still waiting for your specific example of "suspicious" activity in Maricopa County that would prompt an investigation.
Or are you going to be like KLake and not give specifics.

KLake needs to step up and say what evidence she has that "fraud" occurred.

You do know that hand count totals can be hacked. It only takes a criminal.

Who are the criminals?

You can add Vance in Ohio, Oz in Pennsylvania, Michigan, which I forget which candidates. Walker in Georgia also along with Arizona and your Mastriano. There been more in some house races. I don’t think it is a bad strategy, but there is a chance it could backfire. Then what? My thoughts is we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Not the first time

It gets worse:

These county sheriffs are vowing to stop the nonexistent 2020 election steal

Look at the sheriffs and the audience. Old white racists unite!

Racists? Na. Calf ropers? Maybe.

Old, your post made me suddenly come to a certain realization: I kept asking myself and on this board, "Why do these low-functioning lamebrains insist on following Trump? All he does is pass tax cuts for himself and his wealthy friends. What do they get out of the deal? Certainly not money." And then it hit me. Like finally seeing the writing on the wall. They're all white supremacists. They believe Trump will make America 100% lily-white Christian fundamentalist like them. No wonder his rallies are filled with 100% white rednecks. I've never seen a black or Latino at one yet. These are the racist morons Trump, a moron himself, appeals to.

Thank you, Old 'N Chill.
There are very few there. Rumor was that Trump's campaign fund paid blacks $200.00 each to stand behind him and hold the 'Blacks for Trump' signs. I don't doubt it for a minute.

My other question would be how can one believe that any of the savage animals who attacked the capitol have the slightest bit of Christianity? The way I was raised, Christians didn't go around beating and assaulting cops and calling for the hanging of government leaders.

These are no Christians. They are hiding behind that banner like the hypocrites they are. To me, most of them looked like toothless, tattooed, wannabe bikers that have never seen the inside of a real church.

No way Mastriano wins in PA. It's a done deal. I don't know enough about AZ politics, but what I've seen of Lake, she may as well be hanging out of Trump's ass permanently. She's a total nut, likely worse than Mastriano in different ways.

Who knows, the democratic gamble may just pay off.

Funny:

Finchem wants hand counting done. If he gets elected in November and finds a way to eliminate tabulators. Please explain how hand counting will speed things up?

What evidence do you have that Maricopa County is committing election fraud in the Primary?
Their aim is the 1800's, this year has convinced me of that.

I am hopeful that the Independent's in Arizona will not vote for the likes of Finchem. Independents are over 1/3 of the voters.
