Are you really willing to re-open?

Well, we're almost there ...

"An Illinois judge has ordered that the McHenry County Health Department hand the names of those who have tested positive to coronavirus over to police. ..."

Illinois county must hand over coronavirus patients''' names to police, judge rules | Fox News

The decision makes sense.

“This was a no-brainer for the Health Department, a common-sense, confidential, and entirely lawful way they could have worked collaboratively with police departments to assist in enhancing the safety of officers and the community in these dangerous times, and they strangely refused,” Kenneally said, according to the Chicago Tribune.

I'd prefer the government, who everyone can ****ing trust because they care for everyone, the little people as well, stay the **** out of the lives of everyone, stop trying to control everyone. Tracking and tracing is important, do you think the government is going to just what, give up tracking after this has dies down if they do it nationwide, **** no, they will find another excuse.

The slippery slope isn't with the government. We can change that in a hurry. The slippery slope is with Facebook and Google.

Not really sure what you're getting at. Certain environments don't lend themselves to wearing masks, and it is those environments that have hurt my state the most; bars, restaurants and casinos. I'm still working and don't wear a mask. If everything reopened (which is your hypothetical), there would be a chain of events linking my workplace to the rest of the world. The company would be forced to take action, which I cannot predict. So, again, not really sure what you're asking.

not getting at anything; just a simple yes or no question

A mask is ineffective. I think the government needs to create an app where they can track the movement and steps of everyone with the virus. They simply download the app and we have their information. The government can give authority for Facebook or Google to run the app.

I think a lot of people would agree with that. IMO that is a lot easier than tracking each individual by implanting a tracking device in the subject's arm.

It is even easier when they don't have a cell phone.

Huh? Veterinary hopsitals never close for euthanasia appointments.

you are not paying attention; would you refuse to wear a mask (for some reason, a sacrifice for you) and let the economy crash. simple question - yes or no

You could look to Hong Kong as a model. Their population is denser than new York. They didn't shut down. What they did do though is mask up right away and so far have only 4 deaths attributed to Covid-19.
Hong Kong did shut down. They did so much faster than other countries, shutting down when there were barely any reported cases. They also tracked all people arriving to the city with electronic wristbands. Moreover, absent any such orders, residents of Hong Kong shut down all on their own voluntarily (which Americans did not do).

I was clearly pointing out the decision not to wear a mask has nothing to do with the economy when the place I went to is an "essential services" medical facility and exempted from stay at home executive orders.

you can't understand what a hypothetical question is.

getting back to the question then, you would revolt and prevent re-opening

Revolt? Are you trying to recruit me for something? No thanks...

Call it what you want, holding back the economic recovery wouldn't be patriotic. I want to see how many people pushing to re-open would slam on the brakes if they had to wear a mask. Simple question

I certainly can. You don't know me..

I can tell when someone deflects from a straightforward question. As I said in my previous post up above, my goal is to see how many "OPEN NOW" screamers would back down if it required wearing a mask.

If we had to then I would wear a mask... it would only be a temporary measure anyway... vaccines will be available eventually.

Hypothetically, if everything could re-open tomorrow with the contingency that EVERYONE wears a mask, would you wear one?
Some never closed.

but regarding the question I posed, would you refuse to wear a mask and thereby impede reopening?

Demand to wear a mask = Impeding common sense & rational personal autonomy
