Are you on the same page with Trump for advocating.........

Why would anyone think that the guy who f'd with our election and others in the G-7 and invaded a newly democratic nation should be welcomed or trusted?

Ah either you got memory problems or you have selective memories.

Let me remind you what you said: "Stop being so logical, Trix, you'll confuse our Trumpophobe friends."

You insulted your "friends". Your poor sarcasm was unnecessary and hateful.

Aaaahhhh. Do you need a tissue?

That Putin/Russia should be allowed to re-join the G-7 ? Why, or why not ?

Trump didn't invite Putin. French President Emmanuel Macron met with and invited Putin ahead of the G7 summit. Macron has taken a keen interest in brokering an end to the seized Ukraine’s Black Sea peninsula of Crimea and believes that the arrival in power of new Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky could give a new impulse to halting the fighting.

Zelensky has offered to meet Putin for face-to-face talks and spoken to him by phone in recent weeks. Kremlin advisor Yuri Ushakov said that the dialogue between France and Russia had “intensified” in the recent months and that Putin’s visit was the “logical continuation” of his regular contact with Macron.

All Trump did was to agree with Macron.

How can you deny what isn't there? I gave him props for meeting with Kimmie Long Dong for example.
You demonstrate on cue. It's like I rang a bell.

Duh? Are you telling me you tried to troll me?

Why bother?

If you want trolling, Trump is the expert. He's so good, you can't tell when he's serious and when he's playing you. How do you think he's been able to survive in a world full of people that hate him, that want to destroy you?

Oh I know he usually troll people. That's why he is sometimes referred as Troll in Chief. Not a glamorous title for a sitting president. And the funny thing is that he's mostly trolling his supporters.

So it goes completely over your head. Not a thing sticks to your mind. Pay attention or you never will get it.

It's not just trolling, it's pushback, something Republicans have not been allowed to do. Look at Bush 41 and Bush 43. They never responded to any of it and ruined them. Reagan could laugh it off. Trump pushes back with the same thing they gave him, but he's better at it. They don't understand. You don't understand. But, if you step back, don't take it so literally, realize that it's a game with rules, then you can make sense out of it. As Polonius said in "Hamlet", Though this be madness, yet there is method in't. Trump doesn't troll his supporters. Never has.

Thank you for proving my point. And yes I've been told that it's a pushback and I could see it. But the problem is Trump pushing back something that doesn't exist (hence his expert trolling on you). For example his pushing back the media by calling it fake news when he himself hasn't ever given any evidence for and you guys lapped up. No one else but us can see it.

You pretty much hit the nail on the head there.

They don't like to be subject to their own rules, and usually cry to no end when these rules are turned in on themselves.

The term counterpunching, is pretty much what comes to mind when you talk about Trump hitting back.

Thank you for proving mine. You really have no clue.

Yep. At least you recognize it. That's a start. One day you'll wake up.
Just so you know that you are the echo.

Let me try it this way. You're the bully. Trump is the nerdy kid standing up to you, the bully, and protecting the ones you were picking on. That's pretty close to reality.

So you're saying that you think you're a victim or that Republicans feel like they're victims?

Sure, let's invite Russia back into the G7+1 or G8 after they've withdrawn from Crimea, after they stop waging war in Eastern Ukraine, after they have accounted for an act of terrorism that brought down a Malaysian airliner, after they've dealt with the acts of terrorism against dissident Russian figures in Great Britain and most of all after the US has had a full reckoning with them about their attempts to undermine democratic elections in the United States. That's the only kind of deal in which it should be even considered that Russia come back into the G7+1 or the G8.

The only reason that Russia was invited into the G7 in the '90's is not because it was one of the 8 most industrialized economies, it was because they were a fledgling democracy that the G7 wanted to encourage to be more democratic. But since Putin has been ruler of Russia, as it turns out, it hasn't been a fledgling democracy. Since Russia should never have been in the G7 in the first place, and since it was brought in to do something or be something that it's not, why even talk about bringing it back in now? Even Putin knows it's ridiculous and thinks the G20 is the more suitable place for Russia to be.

Actually, not being in the G-7 was a raw sticking point for the Russians, going all the way back to Brezhnev’s time.

It’s a matter of international prestige for them.

This is why they are having Trump peddle the idea now. Trump only has a vague notion of what the G-7 actually is.

Wrong.

Translation (for the challenged crowd): I don't know what Trump's page is...and neither does anyone else.

You are handicapped in that regard because no one knows what Trump’s “page” is. But everyone knows that it is subject to change on a whim.

The question was, am I on the same page as Trump. How would I know if I don't know what page he's on?

That's why I asked.

Talk about the perfect Trump supporter. I don't know what page he is on but I support him nonetheless.
