Yes, better if it's kept peaceful. That's okay, you're not wanted at a No Kings event anyway.

We voted his party out of office, since there are no kingsYet.
What do you call it when a leader doesn't follow the law, issues illegal orders and corruptly enriches himself by the office he holds?
Not if you're aware of what is happening and why.All bullshit.
The irony here is delicious. This quote describes the great majority of this forum:
"Some there are who are nothing else than a passage for food and augmenters of excrement and fillers of privies, because through them no other things in the world, nor any good effects are produced, since nothing but full privies results from them."―Leonardo da Vinci
Again, a laughably simple perspective to mask what's really going on. I guess you're sticking with that nonsense to avoid discussing why the Democrats are taking the stand they are, which demonstrates the weakness of the MAGAGOP position. It's much easier to toss out pablum like "The Republicans are for keeping the government funded" and not discuss the people who will go without healthcare access when the suspension of subsidies make it unaffordable. Not a peep from you on that of course.A little clarity. The Republicans are for keeping the government funded.
There are always the people who view the world solely from an anecdotal perspective. He is only aware of his own opinions.
Hopefully, you'll spend more of your time trying to find it and you'll no longer be pissed off.Surprising how the loss of a Constitutional Republic can piss people off.

I'm fascinated that some here think this is an event for the Democrats. I guess if one just takes in MAGAGOP talking points this makes sense, but this is not organized by the political party and any politicians joining are doing so of their own accord. This protest is about one specific issue, but it's clear this administration is hoping its base are dumb enough to buy the generalizations they're making about Democrats and The Left as we saw Leavitt make.I guess we'll have to wait and see how Saturday turns out for the Dems. I find it hard to imagine how it could be advantageous to them.
What about it? Nothing to see there except the repeated line you've used, which does not address the core issue at play. I'm sure you'll also avoid addressing the opportunistic actions of Vought and the rest of the vultures who are using this as an excuse to gut other areas of the government. The MAGAGOP put itself in the odd position of wanting to keep the government it's trying to dismantle because they don't like it, open.See Post 177.
that's politics
we agree - its Democrats doing it
well I agreed with Schumer and Pelosi and Fetterman on not holding the Fed Govt hostage for demands
agreed - it was planned and Democrats are doing it
that's fine - but that would be on YOU and your demands and not me
omg
you seriously just laid out how its all on Democrats then turn it around to Republican blame. .... amazing
me? I want the Republican's to make a demand list of 25 things they want from Democrats then .......... start with mass deportations, funding complete border wall, remove all sanctuary city designations, .... things Democrats want, force them to give up
and then blame Democrats for not giving in to their demands
can you see how ridiculous that looks ?
The demofks think they can make the republicans go nuclear. Why else hand out talking points saying the republicans control all phases but know they need seven demofks to pass. Hahaha hahaha all republicans voted for the CR. Nothing more they can doAgain, a laughably simple perspective to mask what's really going on. So, you admit that no matter how hard you tried to blame Trump, it's the Democrats who own the shutdown.

Did you come up with this word all on your own, or is this comically bad word come from somewhere else? I'm pining for the days when "libtards" and "demorats" were more prevalent. The demofks think they can make the republicans go nuclear. One must remember there are some who support zero-sum politics, until they're out of power and they won't.Nope. It's all on the Republicans. I love how you all keep trying to spin this. Democrats warned Republicans for months this was coming and were told to go screw themselves. Now, Republicans blame the Democrats for keeping their words that they wouldn't vote for Cloture. The Democrats are to blame, somehow, for not rolling over and doing what the Republicans want. Those bastards who are resisting us.

It’s a CR. It’s obvious you have no clueNothing? They could make a deal so that people don't see double insurance premiums.

The thing is the MAGAGOP does have an option, they're just not interested in taking it because of what they know it will mean if they lose power, that's why it's not inaccurate to say they have another option. It is incorrect to say there is nothing more the MAGAGOP can do, because they can try negotiating with the Democrats and make some concessions to gain their votes but since they are choosing not to do that, they have a roll in the deadlock as well.
No, you missed the context of my post.
Elections have consequences. The tantrum throwing Democrats are in no position to dictate terms of spending priorities.
They have leverage and are using it. I'm not clear on why you think that have no position given what's happening. No, you missed the context of my post.

That’s okay, demofks can hold the country hostage, it’s who they are! They are so pissed Trump will fund the military they are going to sue, showing their hate of AmericansYes. Elections have consequences. Republicans didn't manage to win that 60 seat majority where they wouldn't need Democrats at all. Now, the consequences of losing the Senate Seats that Trump put his favored candidates forward are that they need the Democrats to get past Cloture.
