Are there any Republicans who like NPR?

Off topic,
Hey AlbqOwl It's nice to see another Albuquerquian on here

Hi Sixstring. I'm most pleased to be here and always glad to meet a neighbor.

I'm a registered Republican, but I mostly listen to NPR. Am I twisted, or are there others like me? I absolutely believe they're biased, but I'd much rather listen to something that I disagree with. I do however occasionally yell at my radio.

I'm a conservative - lean more Libertarian (can't wait for it to become a viable party) and yes, I listen to NPR on a fairly regular basis. Yes, they have a slant. No they shouldn't be federally funded. Nothing in the Constitution to support that bad idea.

I also listen to talk radio (Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Glen Beck, Neal Boortz). I yell @ Sean as much as I yell @ NPR. The others aren't so bad, but Sean is too stubborn sometimes and doesn't even hear what the person is saying.

I enjoy NPR the most when the radio is tuned to a different station.

I would rather our tax dollars NOT pay for it .. and it be available by subscription. However, I'm not sure what the current % of federal tax dollars going to NPR.

$1 is too much, the government should not be in the news business at least not in this country.
