Not sure I've heard anyone say they have anything better than PP. Planned Parenthood returns $10 in services for each government $1 investment. How do you top that?
Me too, but for all Americans.
Only for those of us that believe in the rule of law then I suppose.
By reducing health care costs later in life. Throwing people to the streets is not an option.
We are only as strong as the weakest among us. When all Americans are stronger and healthier, so is our country.
I have a house, food, healthcare, transportation, and education. My concern is for those less fortunate who do not.
I think there are many who cannot manage due to various circumstances mostly not in their control.
What theft? I believe in the rule of law.
Many of us have to contribute to things we don't believe in like the war for oil in Iraq.
I don't want what they have but I expect them to pay their fair share just like the middle class does.
You said,
I saw none of that during the 80 years of the social programs that created the strongest middle class in our history.
You seem to be under the notion that our only committments are to our own personal greed. If we want a strong country we have to consider the needs of everyone, not just our own.
if you look at world stats countries with liberal abortion rights have less crime, its simple because most babies that are aborted are done for a reason, i.e. no dad, no money, no love there for that child, which in turn would have been a troubled upbringing, you right wingers sure like to preach less government, but want to make a radical change on decision making, especially that of a woman personal choice.
The constitution calls for the government to provide for our defense. You may argue that we are in wars that we shouldn't be in, but taking tax payer dollars to pay for them is still constitutional.
I'm not so sure about the funding of PP, NPR, PBS, NEA.

That’s according to the Internal Revenue Service Form 990 Planned Parenthood filed in 2008 — the last year in which the abortion business released a public annual report showing additional financial information.
Planned Parenthood spent more than $1 million in 2010 to get their candidates into office. Once in office, these politicians funnel our tax dollars — $363 million in a single year — back to Planned Parenthood. That’s quite a return on their investment, and it’s all at our expense.
President Obama made it clear in closed-door negotiations with Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) that he would not relent on funding Planned Parenthood. He was willing to shut down the federal government rather than stop the flow of government money to the largest abortion provider in the country
No matter how you feel about womens rights, do you really feel right about funding PP with tax dollars?
Yes, they do good work.

Daily Caller...ROFL. Sorry Barb, but really, present facts and not editorials from right wing blogs.
I keep hearing how the act of defunding PP is anti-women. Do you believe this is true?
I said

I stand by,
As long as Obama's in office PP will continue to get federal funds. It won't matter if we find thousands of born alive aborted babies in their dumpsters. Obama needs them.

Is that "jobs saved" kind of math?
The rule of law? They are people thats job is uphold the rule of law but they are partisan hacks that have proven they have no ability to read English let alone the ability to uphold the rule of law. I don't respect them and their ability to do their job.
I have no interest in the radical fringe that does not believe in the rule of law. Continue on in your make believe world.
No matter how you feel about womens rights, do you really feel right about funding PP with tax dollars?
Of course, it saves me money and makes our country stronger.
I like how you won't respond to what I said to this line of nonsense.
Since I believe in the rule of law, your view that it is illegal is a moot point.
Is this all you got?
If you are interested, go back and read my reasoning.
Yes his sources seem a little... biased
But his question is still unanswered. Regardless of how you feel about women's rights and whether or not PP does a lot of good significant work, is it really something that TAX DOLLARS should fund? Or should it be funded privately? I love what they do. But I hate how they're funded.
