Are Hauntings Real?

A friend had a tenant who tragically committed suicide in his rental. To what extent there was damage to the house is uncertain.

The tenant used a shot gun which I can only imagine created a big mess to the house.

For those of you who could believe or maybe not believe, could the house now be haunted?

There are a couple shows on TV that deal with ghosts, spirits, etc. The people who run the show make it sound that there are such things as ghosts/spirits especially of people who died under tragic circumstances.

Some people think of death as being under anesthesia-permanently.

I don't think so. I think when you pass on your time here is now part of the past and you continue in a new present. I think a haunting is as likely as you or I returning to the state before conception. I don't think going back is possible or at the least very difficult. I think by the time we evolve to a point where we are capable of going back we would know better than to do it.

I think it is more than possible there are other entities besides Earthlings in the universe, but I'm not entirely sure they would be human or corporeal. I think it is highly likely life has existed before Earth, and originated somewhere else. Are they "ghosts"? Probably not, but they could feed on the negative energy of a violent and untimely death.

There are lots of very strange and unexplained phenomenon in the universe. Time dilation. Quantum entanglement. Wave/particle duality. But while those things aren’t completely understood, there is concrete imperial evidence for their existence. No such evidence exists for ghosts.

What sort of energy? How is it metabolised? How is it quantitatively different to positive energy? Can they feed on any energy, or only made up energy? Could I set up a generator that runs on negative energy to meet clean energy targets?

Too much in this world I simply do not understand to say yes or no with any certainty.....Im inclined to not believe, but I keep an open mind.

I used to be sure, 100 percent positive that ghosts did not exist. I laughed at those who said otherwise. Til, I saw one clear as day. An old lady walking across the backyard. Only saw her once, she didn't do anything. It was the middle of the day, and I was sober as a judge. My kid pointed at her and said what is that. And she disappeared.

she was dressed like she was from the seventies. In Pants and a blouse. And wore her hair like Dolly Parton. And she wasn't see through, just a little faded. Like an old movie. Didn't realize what I was looking at til she was gone. Didn't see her face, as she was walking away. It was an odd experience.

So clothes have spirits too? What about slaughterhouses? They should be teeming with cow ghosts.
