I have been through maybe a dozen or so. I think they condition men not to interact with women.
Even years ago, way before the formal corporate training, men often said to each other "don't **** where you eat". That means DO NOT fraternize with females at the company in any manner. It's been a given my whole professional life. With DECADES of such indoctrination, how would any man do anything that even comes close to sexual harassment?
I don't get it. So much as a greeting is a risk. Why chance it?
I thought they trained co-workers how to professionally interact, not to not interact.
Did these men say this or the training?
Did the training warn against greeting women professionally?
I am a Senior DevOps Engineer.
It goes through this laundry list of what might offend people. It you pay attention, it's worded in a very open ended way.
Different men over the decades.

My youngest son supervises dozens of people, mostly women. He won't socialize with women from work, won't hire women for jobs he has to interact closely with, and tries not to do any business travel with women. He hires men as much as he can get away with. All that training has done is insure a CYA attitude.
If he is forced to hire women, he should look for Hindi names. Indian women tend have less of a troublemaking, entitled attitude.
But at work now he's really gunshy of women in the workplace. And I'm saying all these workplace training sessions are having the opposite effect of what they're intended. .
Hogwash. You get your clock cleaned on here by "Western women" because of the attitude you have towards them.
My animosity towards you didn't start when you signed on. It started when you whined about how evil white American women are the bane of your existence - in almost every single thread you participate in.
"Sky is cloudy today."
"It's evil American women."
"My motor blew up because I didn't change my oil."
"It's evil American women."
"I haven't had sex in 8 months."
"It's evil American women. They hate me. I don't know why."
Change your tune, and maybe the evil women on this board will not rag on you every time you show up.
Or don't, and blame the decline and fall of western civilization on us.
Either way, I don't care.
You are hearing about horror stories and assuming that all women are capable of this. This is no different than people hearing about school shootings and assuming that every gun in America has the potential to murder school children. While I understand the knee-jerk reactions to salacious news stories about these things, the bottom line is that women are not evil man-haters who are out to get revenge on you personally for the way their gender has been treated, nor are they out to get you fired so they can take your job. They are no different than you or me. How many false sexual harassment allegations have you leveled at your coworkers?
You know, the Western women on this message board are the only ones I interact with.
All of this should go without saying, but I have in the course of my career had to fire 3 men and 1 woman for sexual harassment.
In none of those cases did I feel any need to hesitate at all. If you cannot behave well enough to avoid endangering the shareholders' investments, then you will simply have to be a dumbass somewhere else.

By this same logic, I can only assume you are not for greater gun control. Because, you know. Most of them are perfectly safe.
Right?
