Umm...I was countering your point that white people are called racist while blacks are excused for racism with the fact that black people are also accused of racism by those who excuse whites for racism. It's pretty self explanatory. I'm sorry that the word "liberal" offends you even though accusing "liberals" of playing the race card is a common tactic used by the latter group of people. But it seems you missed my greater point that some people of all affiliations cannot get past their partisanship when looking at racism.
Who are you even talking about Caine? Who thinks its free game to call "anyone else" a racist? Be specific because the only thing your doing right now is making vague accusations against the entire human race.
Again. I mentioned nothing of political ideology. My statement has NOTHING to do with partisanship...
The terms "Liberals" "Conservatives" and "Partisanship" do not belong in any appropriate response to my point.
My point is that if folks are going to excuse the statements and actions of these four boneheads as not racist "because they don't believe they are superior than another race"
Then they should ALSO be defending Don Imus from the accusation of racism based upon his "nappy headed hoes" statement.
I'll be willing to bet if I pulled up the Archives, I would find some folks calling the idiot Imus a racist for his statement, but defending these four idiots.
Who are these folks? Your post was about people excusing blacks for racism but not excusing whites. My post explained that some people excuse whites for racism but don't excuse blacks. My point was that this excusing one group over the other either way usually happens along partisan lines.
And that reaction still doesn't make the scholarships any more racist. But if someone started giving scholarships only to whites, the black community would crap themselves. Go figure.
I'm not talking about people who aren't excusing anyone. I'm talking about those who are.How about those of us who aren't excusing anyone? A racist is a racist, doesn't matter what color their skin is.

I find it interesting that folks who have a "knee jerk" about black culture (Hip Hop, Basketball, etc) are called racists just because they don't like it.
Notwithstanding, I can't stand hip-hop music, but I love Darius Rucker's music..... I must be a racist who is a traitor towards the ways of the racist man....
I read it Caine and yet I'm still trying to place your generalizations.Did you fail to read the post I quoted?
then go back and do it, cause im not requoting it to conform to your laziness.
Case in point.
What about this question makes the question think that one race is superior to another?
This is EXACTLY what im talking about.
The definition of "One who thinks their race superior to others" (racism) is the only way of looking at term when applied to blacks.
Anyone else, and its free game to call them racist just for improperly looking at a person of another race....
Nope. I changed it. I meant any more racist, not less.So then you agree that giving scholarships only to blacks is racist?
uhm you realize your post has nothing to do with mine right?
Your continued crying with nothing of substance is meaningless in an objective debate and your examples are meaningless since they are your opinion and made up assumptions LOL
are there black people that play the race card when theres no reason to play it? absolutley doesnt change the reality that everything is not racist, you raise above people that are the problem you don sink to their level or you become what they are, I guess you choose the 2nd one
You are not understanding anything that I'm saying. Try reading my posts and learning how opinion and conversation work.Wrong again.
My discussion of this matter has nothing to do with Partisan Politics.... Get that **** out of your head.
Try again without talking about politics.
thanks for that opinion all the objective people will make of note of it.
You are not understanding anything that I'm saying. Try reading my posts and learning how opinion and conversation work.
Unfortunately, partisan politics play heavily into the problem you highlighted of people excusing the apparent racism of one race and not the other. You are responding to my point by trying to turn it into a discussion of partisan politics.
This is not my intent, as I give a rats ass about partisan politics in a discussion about race.
Unfortunately, partisan politics play heavily into the problem you highlighted of people excusing the apparent racism of one race and not the other.
Who is crying?
My examples are not meaningless because Ive been called a racist for not liking hip-hop... Ive been called a racist for not like basketball.
Where have I sunk to their level?
You accused me of two things in this post with no cause...
And, my response was to that of which you said that Al Sharpton has knee jerk reactions to "white culture".
I agree wholeheartedly and my point was that excuses for people tend to fall on partisan lines. People, liberals and conservatives, tend to excuse those of their own political affiliation which is nonsensical. It shouldn't.
I know this is debate politics and all, but people shouldn't let their political ideology control how they view race relations in the US.
you are in fact crying LOL
I know a person that thinks it racist when people use the term black so what? LMAO
its NONSENSE and you are sinking to their level by wanting to call everything else racist or CLAIMING that everything you do is racist when it was just an opinion of some retard.
Dont let morons define what is racists, thats what you are doing.
Big whoop some idiots called you racist for somethings that werent racist doesnt make it true so you can use those examples to justify your opinions UNLESS you want to be equated to being a moron like they were.
If you act like the morons you become one and enable them to win.
All these clowns are Racist! I used to love Rev Al but he changed
Racism implies unreasonable or unwarranted action to promote one race over another. Trying to overcome past injustice does not qualify. I do not think these men are racist. I think they are overzealous at times, and sometimes look for conflict where none exists, but I criticize their methods, not their intent. Minorities, especially black people, still face a lot of discrimination in this country.
I am not crying for one... stop with the ****ing trolling.
Two, I am discussing the difference between the standards that many on this very message board set when determining whether or not something is racist, and pointing out that it is interesting that there are those who would defend these guys as not racist because they define racism as <blank> but then not applying that same definition when the tables are turned while still applying the term racist.
I am discussing Hypocrisy.
