Apple is the first U.S. company to hit that value, a staggering ascent that began in the pandemic.

It took Apple 42 years to reach $1 trillion in value. It took it just two more years to get to $2 trillion.
Even more stunning: All of Apple’s second $1 trillion came in the past 21 weeks, while the global economy shrank faster than ever before in the coronavirus pandemic.

And Apple pays ZERO taxes.

Remember when Elizabeth Warren called for breaking up big tech monopolies - and the Democratic MSM and press started screaming "Warren is too radical!" - destroying her campaign?

One thing you will NEVER Biden or Harris say is they will NEVER name ANY mega billionaire or billion/trillion dollar company they think should pay any taxes. Biden promised he isn't going to raise taxes on the rich in a meeting with them.

Apple is now economically greater than all but 6 countries in the world. Zero taxes. Biden and Harris are A-OK with that.

Note

Market capitalization is different than GDP

Apple at this price is overvalued by a good 40% on P/E basis

hang on.

isn't this the same poster who constantly bragged about the stock market under Trump (before Trump totally screwed up our COVID response)?

The stock market is still very high, but that is due to the fed providing mass liquidity to the markets

See - this thread makes my point. For all the ranting about the super rich, hell will freeze over before the Democratic Party and its minions will EVER criticize anyone of the super rich. The Democratic Party is nothing but one of the PR departments and staff of the super rich, nothing else. Elizabeth Warren was blown out of the water for daring to speak negatively about Amazon and Google. The Democratic Party and MSM immediately declared her "too radical" and threw her under the bus.

Then Joe Biden meet with a group of rich people promising he would not raise their taxes and that there "will be no fundamental changes" if he becomes president - explaining how much he need the super rich to win. INSTANTLY, it was declared Joe Biden will be the Democratic Party's nominee. It was that transparent - but not by watching the MSM, which didn't breathe a word of Biden's "no fundamental changes" and assurances to millionaires and billionaires.
