I use the DP app on my phone a lot, sometimes I can use the buttons at the top, bold Italics , and other times the buttons are shadowed and they don't do anything. How do I control it so I can take advantage of the buttons to bold or link text?

( I'm wearing out my thumbs with [QUOTE ] codes. )

To the right of the reply box, there should be a set of square brackets. That toggles BB Code. Tap them and it should cycle whether you can use the buttons on the left.

Edit: the square brackets are above the reply box, on the right side, not to the right of the reply box.
