I have no idea if any CC has ever coerced a child to 'hunger and thirst after righteousness'

self-proclaimed religious people in the world today are among the most immoral, uneducated, backward, stagnant, cruel, mean, and ignorant. So obviously people's morality comes from a reason other than trying to please some otherworldly entity they have never met.

Seriously, CC's are mostly ignorant of what they profess to believe. They profess an identity to Christ, without knowing much about HIS ministry.

The new testament refers to the commandments as "the ministry of death". Not exactly a life-giving message.

My understanding of Christian Theology is that forgiveness is there for anyone who seeks it. Also, despair or the belief that "unforgivable offenses" make hell certain is a common form of demonic attack & everyone will be attacked / tempted by the demonic forces. The way to resist is:
1. Prayer, start with repentance, & then more as per religious instruction. Many Churches incorporate anti-demonic prayers into Church services like "Prayer to St. Michael" or the "Hail Mary". 2. Read the Bible. 3. Church, Sacraments. 4. Acts of service. I personally respect all religions but practice Catholicism just because it works for me & I credit it with saving my life on more than one occasion during my period of thrill seeking in extreme sports.

Also, my interest in politics included in my study of complex systems caused me to come across an unusual intersection of present day politics and religion. During WWI, religious apparitions of Holy Mary occurred in Fatima, Portugal, to shepherd children. During the apparitions, future wars were predicted including a war to follow WWI (meaning WWII) as well as a future war where "whole nations will be annihilated" (implying nuclear war). Also the means to prevent or mitigate this dark future was given to the children if enough Catholics said a couple prayers in reparation for the world that take less than 30' per day. Although the CC encourages these prayers, it does not emphasize or lead them & I doubt more than a couple % of Catholics do them. So I try to lobby for the CC to lead those prayers from time to time as there seems to be zero downside, & significant potential upside.

In general, I try to see if information gained in one complex system can help in another, and that is just one of many examples.

interesting. my studies of Prophecy indicate that WW one, two and three were all pre-planned and on schedule.

WW three will be nuclear and de-populate many countries, whole cities will be leveled. there seems to be nothing that is going to stop any of this, so far.

the Oligarchs know what is coming, and have built underground shelter world wide to escape the coming Insanity. of course the sheep will die; but as the WEF says 'we will take everything you have' and they mean it.

the goal is to knock world population down to 500 million if the georgia guidestone monuments are to be believed. i don't think they will do it in one sweep though.

I thought most Christians consider hell to be the absence of God. Wouldn't God being in hell defeat the purpose of heaven?

GOD is indeed “present” in hell, or maybe hell is in HIS presence, depending on the perspective. GOD is forever omnipresent. HE will forever know what is occurring in hell. However, the souls imprisoned there will lack any relationship with GOD nor engage in communication with HIM. HE will be spatially present but without a relationship.

Just an aside, but how does pain (or hope) operate in hell? I mean your brain and subsequent pain receptors have ceased functioning by this point.
