Why do people burn the flag of the nation that they have left everything to be part of, yet parade and wave the flag of the country that they are resisting going back to?
It might help to understand the apparent conflict.why??
How could my answer be meaningful?
Example? Why do people burn the flag of the nation that they have left everything to be part of, yet parade and wave the flag of the country that they are resisting going back to?
Apparently, the people who burn one flag and wave the other.Because who the **** cares?
Is that when you attained adulthood? The whole flag-fetish thing is so 1996.
Because they'll do anything for Mexico except to live there. Why do people burn the flag of the nation that they have left everything to be part of, yet parade and wave the flag of the country that they are resisting going back to?

Wave a flag = "do anything for"Because they'll do anything for Mexico except to live there.
Two things can be true. Why do people burn the flag of the nation that they have left everything to be part of, yet parade and wave the flag of the country that they are resisting going back to?
Because it seems so conflicted. Why do you care?
Opinion noted.Wave a flag = "do anything for"
Your posts are lazy trolling
No. It's just nonsensicalI'm going to go out on a limb, and it was a really big deal to you, right?
Yeah I get what you're saying if you don't like the country that much go home you're not required to be here.No. It's just nonsensical
"I want to be here, so I destroy a symbol of the place I want to be. Yet I don't want to be in another place, so I'll show respect to a symbol of that place."
Let me make sure I understand. People have given everything to go to a place that they believe is brutal, and support the culture of the place that they resist being in. Is that right? Two things can be true.
People can use symbols to protest against brutality.
People can use symbols to show support for a culture.
Why do people burn the flag of the nation that they have left everything to be part of, yet parade and wave the flag of the country that they are resisting going back to?

The false dilemma fallacy is never a good way to try to prove a point. There is a lot of gray area between black or white.Let me make sure I understand. People have given everything to go to a place that they believe is brutal, and support the culture of the place that they resist being in. Is that right?
Who said they didn't like the country that much?Yeah I get what you're saying if you don't like the country that much go home you're not required to be here.
That's half of the answer. Is the other half of it that, "I burn this flag because I don't like the culture I chose to live in."?Every time someone waves a national flag he's making a statement. If it's not in the midst of a confrontation it just means pride in being a "proud citizen of" and if not in the midst of confrontation it could just be "I like and celebrate the culture I was raised in."
I was thinking more like 1966. The Hippies had it right.1996.
