That particular ranking system, using criteria other than GSP, puts Washington State as #1.

It's pretty impressive that one US state is now the world's 4th largest economy, but I guess if state economics don't matter to you, then it's not important.
Texas is ranked ahead of CA in the Newsweek link. So much for liberal policies ruling the roost no?
