Chinese reporter asks trump why he is treating the number of virus tests like a competition, why a competition about the number matters, and he tells her to ask China, not him. Her question was why he's saying what hes saying; his non-response to ask China instead makes no sense except as a reference to her race.

I doubt that's true since his poll numbers are the worst they've ever been and even his republicans in Congress are turning on him. Right now, there are two separate republican groups that are robustly challenging his re-election. A video from Republicans for the Rule of Law titled is titled; "Unfit. Unwell. Unreasonable".

Some of his foolhardy GOP hanger-on'ers like Devin Nunes and Tom Cotton are still spouting Fox-style misinformation and propaganda, while others like Ted Cruz and Mitt Romney seem to realize that the optics of standing up to a pandemic won’t be great for republicans when election day rolls around.

I meant the way he has completely botched the way he has not been up to the job of standing up to this pandemic. Anyway, what I mean is that there are many in his party who are stunned at the mismanagement of this pandemic, and his mismanagement has come at a high cost of human lives. They're hearing from their constituents in their own states, and they're not happy. The republicans are divided. No longer are they a force to be reckoned with because of this division. This takes away votes, that's a certainty. And, for a man that barely scraped by with a win in 2016, this is a sure sign it's not going to go well for him in the election.
