I guess i'll just nip this in the bud.

So private facts laws go like this. You're not allowed to disseminate (somewhat widespread), to the public, private facts offensive to a reasonable person as long as knowledge of those facts are not in the public interest. This means that, even if it's true, it can still be illegal.

However, i claim that knowing if my neighbor is a KKK member is of my interest, and of the publics in general.

Summarize- no defamation (because it's true) no private-facts (because newsworthy)
