Anders Behring Breivik Identified As Suspect In Norway Shooting

We're not making excuses for him the way the Libbos do for the Islamofacists.

This libbo would shoot his nut sack with a low power bb gun until his balls fell out getting info from this lame ass psyco, when they did I would feed them to him. :2wave:

that would be a serious Daisy Ouch

Well, I just think the best conversation to have would be how we, as a society, could prevent this from happening again and gun legislation is going to be part of that conversation. There's no way in avoiding it. We also have to keep in mind the victims in this were children. We all want to protect our children. I remember in high school, my campus had a lot of glass walls and the students often said that made us nervous about possible shootings. That was brought up to teachers and was discussed, but nowhere did our school ever teach us how to handle a school shooting or how to react. I think it's a discussion worth having.

Let's be fair; rolling over in the Norwegian way to deal with a threat. It's in their blood. Look how much of a fight they put up when the Germans invaded.

Okay... I am not sure how you can judge an entire nation as rolling over in response to a national tragedy such as this.

The Va. Tech shooting was driven by Right Wing paranoia?

A lot of them are right wing, anti government, because hating the government and firearms kind of goes hand and hand with right wingers. It's not always the case, but it tends to be a stereotype.

fair point-now the Greeks and the Fins-they were tough SOBs who gave the Nazis and the Communists, respectively, all kinds of heartache

Right, and the commies gave the nazis a lot of heartache... :ssst:

Why not, you're trying to compare a massacre of almost 80 people in Norway, by a sociopath, with a not guilty verdict in the United States.

That's still not enough to group me with Breivik. If you really think I could do that, you need to call the police right now.

Debating you is a waste of pixels.goodbye.:2wave:

So this nut decided it was a good idea to commit mass murder in order to promote his views? Wouldn't that have a detrimental effect on the views he is trying to promote? I have to wonder if this guy really believes what he says and not just some leftist trying to damage the other side.

I have spent a few thoughts on that as well, but his political past suggests otherwise. Also at this point of time this can be only deemed a wild conspiracy theory devoid of any factual base whatsoever.

Most interestingly, such conspiracy theories are most common in both far right and far left. Be it the theory that hitler's still alive, but lives in an alien base at south pole, or that 9/11 was an inside job...

Not to mention that this train of thoughts should also imply that so called islamofascists might just be islamophobes trying to damage the other side; A thought which makes little sense to me.

I believe it is time to accept that this terrorist was a conservative nationalist who tried to spread his ideas by instilling fear. That the government up there is clever enough to act in the opposite way, by increasing openness and democracy, only means that he utterly failed. Other governments, however, are not so clever; They would decrease freedom and break into privacy, increasing fear, hence only helping the terrorists to their goal.

I bet a few of those norwegians would have loved to have had a shotgun when that idiot was running around unchallenged shooting people

Compared to the American gulags... you betcha.. we like to treat our fellow human beings as human beings and not as animals.

I think it should be the other way around. At least animals have their uses.
