That's the best you got? This has nothing to do with Republicans, the Democrats are in power and this is about what THEY said and what THEY do.
Stinger its reply posts like yours that keep **** going.
I have noticed that in your posts you are the one who wants to be always right,
or pointing the blame to someone else.
The way you seem to be thinking is Republicians don't lie only democrats,
Come on Man Get real.
Bush lied the whole 8 years he's been in office, and the lies came from his lips.
Show me one politician that don't lie,
good lord is this all yur griping about?Democrat VOW ALREADY BROKEN: HOUSE SETS 4-DAY WORK WEEK
Sun Jan 07 2007 15:03:38 ET
Democrats ran to expand the work week in the House to 5 days.
But guess how long that lasted?
Not even one week!
DRUDGE REPORT FLASH 2007®
This is absolutely hilarious :lamo First they break the promise about the 9/11 commission hearings, then about being inclusive and bi-partisian, and now this.
OK let's hear the excuse making.
good lord is this all yur griping about?
I'm sorry, I know your supposed to be on ignore.. but I thought this was too cute...... He means what he says and he says what he means huh?No he didn't. In fact he's one of the most honest Presidents we've had, you can trust he means what he says and says what he means.
Oh how right he is... Oh how right he is... Because he is honest and he says what he means and he means what he says....Prezident Boosh said:"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."
Wow really? Imagine that, and this whole time the conspiracy theorists were right!Prezident Boosh said:"You know, when I campaigned here in 2000, I said, I want to be a war President. "
Yeah, Mr. Bush.... that sure is a tough one.........Good luck on that :2razz:Prezident Boosh said:"You know, one of the hardest parts of my job is to connect Iraq to the war on terror."
Why not Mr. President?Prezident Boosh said:"I was not pleased that Hamas has refused to announce its desire to destroy Israel."
And they said Kerry was a "flip-flopper" :roll:Prezident Boosh said:"This notion that the United States is getting ready to attack Iran is simply ridiculous. And having said that, all options are on the table."
Stinger turning it into a huge deal is pointless, but I can understand what he's going for.
The Democrats ran on a bunch of different things that were basically "Hey, the republicans did this, and its Bad! So we're going to fix it, cause it seems like that'd be Good!"
Then, they get in, and go "umm...ignore that, it actually isn't good, but thanks for the votes."
Its a bait and switch, and a bit dishonest. And a lot of the democrats going "So what, they need the extra day to get office stuff done" are the same ones that were complaining how lazy the republican congress was for not working 5 days. You don't get to complain about it and say how bad it is....and then when you get the chance to change it say "nope, keeping it this way...and you can't complain about how bad it is".
Much like I have no problem with them using the Congressional rules to keep the republicans under wraps during the first 100 hours despite their promises of "bi-partisanship, civility, and fairness"...I also don't have a problem with them having a 4 day work week.
What I do have a problem with is that democrats not in office are being hypocritical...yelling at republicans for saying "Hey, this is one of those things you complained about against us!" and telling them to shush, they have no right to say it.
As they say, you can't have your cake (complaining about how one side does things) and eat it too (doing the exact same thing when you're in power, but saying people can't complain about it).
I don't understand where the beef is. The GOP never tried to work 5 days a week. (They needed the extra day to meet with Abramoff.) The Democrats will. Who's better on this front?
***Republicans...hands down!
You have to go back to 2004? The current World Series champs, my Saint Louis Cardinals, are the real story now.
You don't have to do that.Im finished with you as well.
The way you are falling into making every petty thing into a huge deal is placing you on the ignore list along with Jamesrage and Aquapub.
good lord is this all yur griping about?
Bush has years of lies,
and inuendo,
and you think this is important.
Hey man a four day week is normal. It gives them a chance to work in their offices and communicate.
Bush and the NeoCons have.................
I'm sorry, I know your supposed to be on ignore..
Trying to divert so you don't have to defend the Democrat lies........................guess you don't have much else.Shall I go on??
Okay, most of your post lost the hell out of me....
What I am seeing on this thread is Republicians blaming everything on democrats,
Stinger You stated that this is about Congress and the Democrats,
and I must tell you that it was the samething with you Republicians vs the Democrets,Congress, and the Bush Administration.
Now (thank GOD) You Republicians will soon be off the Hill in Washington, and I can just picture you Republicians on this site losing your mind :rofl.
:rofl To underline how ridiculous this entire thread's theory is the clock on the 100 hours only started TODAY, 1-9-07...last week's sessions were not bills being passed, they were rules changes and not intended to be part of the first 100 hours.Nope, and this is about the congress and the Dems not Bush.
