I don't think you could find any person in political life today who has been subjected to more attacks and had more money spent against her by special interests, among whom you have named a few, than I. And I'm proud of that.

I think Hillary could also be "proud of"

Extracting money from Wall Street for useless speeches that were pay for play access.

Making $100,000 in cattle futures, with a measly investment of 1,000, and doing so in record time.

Being the Bimbo Eruption Queen of Destruction... The War on Bill's Women.

Standing by her rapist husband.

Her pandering blackcent.

Her private server, and giving our enemies easy access to US secrets...

Just for starters...

:laughat: You called Hillary Clinton a socialist

Yeah...

...and soon to be the first woman elected to the presidency.

Gotta admire her.

Buncha cowards her rivals all are!

They cannot tackle her in fair ground and are trying to put her down by nonsense accusations that she already refuted.

Her husband didn't "rape" anyone, and there is no evidence that she put classified information into the famous emails, let alone that any of our enemies had access to them.

So, she must be proud of being accused of those things.

The woman involved disagrees. Hillary states that those who state that they are victims of sexual violence deserve to be believed.... unless, it seems, they are politically inconvenient at the time....

and there is no evidence that she put classified information into the famous emails

This is incorrect. Hillary Clinton authored emails that included classified information, and then sent them over unclassified networks. There are, at last count, a little over 1,500 (and counting) "pieces of evidence" that she put classified information into an unclassified server, and then handed that server over to uncleared personnel, all in violation of federal law. Had I done what Hillary did, I would not be posting here, I would be in jail.

let alone that any of our enemies had access to them.

We have the assessment of the head of the Defense Intelligence Agency at the time that they did, and we know that a Romanian hacker named "Guccifer" got some of them by getting in via Sydney Blumenthal's account. I don't think I'd call that "proof" (it is technically possible, after all, that General Flynn is lying, and Hillary Clinton has suddenly become a beacon of honesty and transparency), but I'd say it belongs under the label of "evidence".

Or notta gotta. Plenty of women have been elected president before - just not in the somewhat backward US.

I think you'd still be posting here, and not from jail. We do still have that "innocent until proven guilty" thingy in the law, despite attacks on the idea.

Oh, I concur. But for a regular person like me, this is an open and shut case. "We have you doing it on paper. Do you want to plea bargain in order to save the government the expense of your trial, or just take a guaranteed guilty verdict?" I'd have been arrested when this all came out, and long since through the process. They don't mess around on this stuff with, you know, the little people, to whom the law actually applies.

Heck, we had a Marine Major who sent a single document in an emergency situation to try to stop a green on blue attack (he was, unfortunately, unsuccessful. Three Marines died.), and he was stripped of his clearance and kicked out of the military for it.

That's too bad for the major.

Hillary isn't in the military, though. Can't kick her out of it.

And there's good reason for the commander in chief to be a civilian.

Plus, I think if it really were an "open and shut case", there would at least have been an indictment by now, if not a trial, and that a lot of the controversy over the emails is specifically because Hillary is running for president.

But, that could be wrong. Maybe she really does have some sort of power over the justice department. Notice, I've never said she's that rarest of beasts, an honest politician.

Sorry, you are correct. I should have included "...presidency of the United States."

I have to keep in mind that sometimes I am dealing with people who are not particularly swift.

The laws that apply to both are the same. 18 U.S. Code Sections 793 and 1924. Every individual (civilian and military) with a security clearance gets annual training and signs the statement saying that they understand and are capable and willing to comply with the laws, rules, and regulations regarding the handling of classified material.

You are absolutely right... unless, of course, Hillary is running for President.

The decision to indict belongs to Attorney General Loretta Lynch. You really think that the Obama administration is going to indict the prohibitive Democrat nominee for President, and give the White House to the Republicans over a little thing like Rule of Law?

Right. Why, they're almost as unfair as all those cowards who tried to put O.J. Simpson down with nonsensical accusations--which he refuted.

Or even particularly American. Only Americans - and maybe Saudis and their ilk - think that a female head of government is a Big Deal. You clearly find the very idea awesome. Maybe you still use the silly title 'First Lady' for women who happen to be married to some man who got himself elected.

I don't find it particularly awesome...nor have I suggested that I do.

Sounds as though you are out of sorts.

Too bad. ;)

It's funny how OJ's memory faded out of the usual lexicon... then a tv movie comes out and it's getting crammed in alllll the irrelevant analogies again.

The Belle of Benghazi's memory will fade out of the usual lexicon, too, soon enough.

And you guys will still scream falsehoods about Benghazi. It's a sad sickness I suppose.

Benghazi...emails...

...just so they are attacking Hillary Clinton, their lives are worth living.

You are right. It is sad.

Please don't be sad on my account. Save it for the day the scheming Marxist liar you are trying so desperately to defend goes down in flames. The falsehoods about Benghazi are Mrs. Clinton's--she has lied through her teeth about the whole thing from the beginning, in a vain attempt to cover her ample backside.

You are correct. Which is why she was arrested today.. errrrrrr wait a second!

I don't care if she is ever arrested. She will be tried in the court of public opinion, where there is no need to prove her guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

I hear that she also hates puppies and kittens.

There is lots of evidence that classified information passed through her private server. There are actually quite a few that have been specifically found to have top secret information. This has already been stated.

You're discounting the privilege that the elites get to be above the law. I'd actually be surprised if she gets convicted, even if we had 100% proof that everything claimed was true. This is the climate we live in due to partisanship. The Dems will circle the wagons to protect a Dem and the same would be done for a Rep by Reps. It also doesn't hurt to know you have the Attorney General on you team.
