Either you just make this stuff up as you go along or reality escapes YOU. Where do you get the notion that West Virginia is a blue state? West Virgina was won by Romney in 2012; McCain in 2008; Bush won it in 2004 and 2000. One has to go back to 1996 to see a Democratic win it in a presidential election. In other words, no Democratic Presidential candidate won West Virginia in 16 years. To assert that Obama lost it in 2012 due to "his attacks on the coal industry," is mere projection.
Joe Manchin and Jay Rockefeller, both Democrats, hold West Virginia's U.S. Senate seats.[3] One of three seats in the United States House of Representatives is occupied by Democrat Nick Rahall;[4] the other two are taken by Republicans David McKinley and Shelley Moore Capito. Democrats also maintain strong positions in the state legislature and most local and state offices. West Virginia also has a very strong tradition of union membership. While Democratic politicians hold most statewide offices and control both houses of the state legislature, Republicans have made major gains at the state and federal level in recent years.
Let's recap:You are amazing, simply a liberal who cannot admit when wrong
Obama got only 35.5% of the vote in W. Virginia in 2012, which emphasizes that it is a red state. What is it about liberalism that creates people like you? I guess 25% support for Obama in a state with Two Democrat Senators and a Democrat State legislature is to be ignored?

Let's recap:
You claimed that Obama lost W. Virginia because of his policy against coal. I pointed out that no Democratic presidential candidate has won W. Virginia since Clinton. That's an indisputable fact. Then, faced with that indisputable fact, you act as if I was the one that was wrong.
What is it about the conservative fantasy world that allows them to think they are correct when what they said is counter to actual facts and what you believe bears little resemblance to reality?
Picky picky
You are going to have to wait way longer than 2017. There is little chance the GOP will see the whitehouse probably until at least 2020 or 2024 at the earliest. Not if it's Bush, you should know better by now.
I can't wait for 2017 when the Republican President starts doing things and it's all "But..but, Obama!" Basically because I want to start throwing back the "He's not President anymore." Though I suspect that some posters will magically disappear in 2017.
heh heh ... but I think maybe the UMWofA rank and file may have had their eyes opened.Exactly, I guess having two Democrat Senators and Democrats holding most statewide offices including the state legislature make W. Va a red state
I also recognized the strong tradition of union membership making this of course a Red State because we all know how much unions love the GOP
There is another option, I voted third party. But third party candidate do not stand a chance as the election laws are written, by Republicans and democrats by the way, as a mutual protection act for the major parties. Then both parties have sold their heart and soul to special interests, corporations, wall street firms, lobbyist, huge money donors and that is where their loyalties lie. Third party candidates get none of these tens of millions or like in 2012, hundreds of millions.
It is like when one goes to the polls these days, you end up voting for which company will have the most political influence over our elected officials, Goldman Sachs or Bank of America. But then these firms and corporations aren't dumb either, quite a lot end up donating their tens of millions to both parties, that way no matter who wins the election, the winner owes them big time.
Cool.
Of course, the same people that vote for these idiots they put into power will say that you are wasting your vote.
I say they are slowly destroying America with theirs.
Crap in, crap out.

Don't blame you for running, you do that a lot, but The Red State of West Virginia has had a Democratic Governor since 2001, has two Democratic Senators, has a Legislature in total control of the Democrats, and has a tradition of being a strong union state. Now of course all those really indicate a red state in the liberal world you live in, right?
I would label them a battleground state...One of their democratic senators is no Obama fan.

I think there is very little chance that the next president isn't a Republican. Just look at history.
Depends on who in the GOP field can get the liberal media to not lie about them to help their democrat masters.History doesn't tell the whole story. You combine a really weak field of potential Republican candidates with an electoral map that leaves little opportunity for Republican missteps and it pretty much guarantees that a Republican will not win in 2016. This is true even IF Hilary doesn't run....although a weaker Democrat candidate will give the GOP a better opportunity. I just don't see it happening. Who in the current lot of front runners for the GOP do you think is electable?

LOL.....sounds like you have been listening to Sarah Palin for too long. The reality is the Democrats don't need the so called "liberal media" to help them against the current sorry lot of GOP contenders.
I would agree to a point rocket. The 2012 primary season was too long, and there were too many debates. This time should be better. The biggest problem is going to be not eating your own the way they did in 2012. Every primary there was another candidate whose main qualification was being "not Romney."
But I understand that you need to blame everybody else. It is funny to me that the same people who talk about "personal responsibility" turn around and blame everybody but themselves.
You're delusional if you think that another lib has a chance in 2016. Check the polls today. Nearly every category has 2/3 of the country disapproving of the mess liberal policies have created.LOL.....sounds like you have been listening to Sarah Palin for too long. As for eating their own demo's better worry about that themselves this coming Presidential season.

We shall see. Perhaps if the GOP had a strong candidate to put up. There isn't one in the current field. Too bad for you.
So you're not sure that's true, hmmmmm....Well then, that should settle it...Since all reality is the same to you, then it should be enough for you to just hold a press conference and inform America that all of the charges of racism for opposing Obama, is just all in everyone's head. Do you know how ridiculous you sound twisting into knots excusing deplorable behavior from demo's?
If there is a charge of racism it would not be in opposing Obama. It would be in the how. The over exaggerations, the mindless belief in him not being a citizen, being a communist, Muslim, terrorist, fascist, socialist, heathen antichrist. It's a little much even for American politics.
So, slow down, back up, and address the actual argument. Which is that racism is still with us, and that we should still address it where merited.
