You don't like what Obama's doing, so you'd move to a country with universal health care, strict gun laws and no actual freedom of speech? :lamo
After reading The_Patriot's post about his dad's comments following Waco, and knowing my own feelings on the subject, have any of you considered relocating. If so, where would you move and why.
Orly = Oh, reallly?
And I meant - what sport.
Come to Taiwan... Americans are generally well liked here...
I am U.S.-born but have lived most of my adult life in Taiwan. I haven't surrendered U.S. citizenship, but I currently represent Taiwan in international sports events (though this will likely be my last year of international competition) where I once represented the United States.

While it breaks my heart to admit it, yes--I have considered leaving the country. I do not like the socialist direction this country is headed and I fully understand that unless things change drastically my wife and I will never be able to afford to retire in this country regardless of whatever savings we may accumulate.
It's hot as a muther****er and it stinks and drivers and scooter/moped-riders and pedestrians are all equally insane.
Ping-pong?
Actually, Taiwan is much better at badminton and taekwondo than "ping pong".
The grass is always greener, once you get there you may very well finally realize just what you had before you left
The grass is greener in Australia.
But the grass in Australia is full of poisonous snakes and spiders
A close friend has spoken about moving to either Switzerland or Panama. As an international businessman, he can live in these places and visit the US for business. Many people like him have the ability to do this due to modern communication and the ease of travel. They vote to keep their money with their feet. And when the country pisses in the face of business, they can move their plants and production elsewhere. Rightly so.Where would you like to go instead?
.A 62% Top Tax Rate?
Democrats have said they only intend to restore the tax rates that existed during the Clinton years. In reality they're proposing rates like those under President Carter.

Poisonous snakes and spiders, poisonous trees, poisonous octopus, and the world's only poisonous freaking mammal. I hear great things about Australian women, but honestly, I think I'd be too afraid to put any part of them in my mouth.
:lol: Well I've never had a spider crawl out of anywhere unexpected, so I think the women are pretty safe.

Strictly opinionbut I have to admit that australia would be one of the few places I would consider going..."IF" I were so inclined
I love my country, my family has shed alot of blood for her and some have given all. I may sound too patriotic to somes liking, but until I believe theres something better...Im going to stay patriotic
