On Friday, a Florida-born American citizen was killed by a mob of Israeli settlers in the West Bank. Not only that, after he was viciously beaten, the settlers blocked an ambulance from coming and getting him for three hours. The man died on the way to the Hospital.

But don't worry folks, it turns out that Sayfollah Musallet was an Arab-American citizen visiting his family in the West Bank. So it was obviously his fault for instigating a confrontation, or so any subsequent investigation will tell us, and should clear these Israeli settlers of any wrongdoing. This need not be examined any further.

Remember, we must put this in the context of October 7, 2023 and how the Palestinians have rejected every peace deal with the Israelis, and why is it that Israel is held to these uniquely high standards when defending itself, and isn't it just interesting that people refer to Zionism when they really mean Jew, and did anyone mention how Israelis warn Gazans before they bomb an area, and how Arabs are allowed into Israel for medical care, and what about gay rights that Israelis respect while gay Arabs are often killed in...

Horrible.

According to our Zionist apologists, it's OK when an Israeli does it.

He was probably planning another October 7th. It’s a good thing they prevented the ambulance from getting to him. I have it on good word they called him the third Sinwar Brother.

You should probably quote the person who believes Israel has a right to exist and who said that it's cool for settlers to murder people.

Doesn't address my point. And I'm not tagging people who aren't part of this thread yet.

Not a lot to go on.

Let me know when an article comes out that isn't slanted and that actually has some substance, such as what started the confrontation.

I don't like articles that want to make my knee jerk.

What started the confrontation is irrelevant when a person is beaten to death then denied medical care.

I'm not going to pass any judgements until I know the whole story.

The fact that you're not tagging people doesn't mean it doesn't address the point, which was your claim that "zionists" (defined how?) said it's cool for settlers to murder people.

:🤷:

Israel’s existence is not in any danger in the first place, so that excuse fails miserably.

And Phys, if you were honestly going after dodges, you'd have pounced on this silly horse shit. He appears to be attempting to say that if Israel's existence is not in danger, then it's fair to say that zionists think it's fine for settlers to murder people.

Which... the what?

Tagging someone not on the thread gets you 3 points.

Trust me on this 😁

Then maybe people should be careful about what claims the ascribe to entire groups of individuals, especially with a word whose definition seems to change based on who one wishes to target.

:🤷:

Zionism, aka, the belief in Israel's right to exist, does not necessarily imply a belief that it's fine for settlers to murder people.

An apologist appears!

Well I certainly will. It was a heinous crime against an American, and the beasts that did this must - at minimum - be prosecuted. Americans don't deserve to be under the boot of zionism

shrug...

You do you.

Not sure about the “Zionist” bit but isn’t that the point of colonization? Genocide, ethically cleanse, or subjugate the natives?

What are the chances any of the people who carried this out will be held accountable? Slim to none if how the Israeli government had been handling it is any indication.

Ya its pretty rare that the Israeli govt punishes for something this. There will be some words behind the scenes and some angst in our own state dept over it but at the end of the day its just another atrocity unfortunately.

And yet here you are excusing the mass murder of civilians based on no evidence whatsoever of your human shield allegation...

shrug...

That kind of thing happens when terrorists use people as human shields.

But when a Muslim is killed you want the whole story 🙄
