damn i had a similar question liek this on my physics final....didnt do too well.:(


first of all, i don't understand what u mean by eigenvalues for the atom. Do you mean eigenvalues for various observables concerning the atom?

hmm the eigenvalues could represent energy levels, the angular momentums, the position, or linear momentum.
