Arts&Sciences said:Well, George W. Bush certainly has led the Republicans well to the right, but Howard Dean is leading the Democrats just as far to the left. I think that both parties are becoming far too extreme, but that's just my opinion, and it is rather predictable (0.25, -1.38).
curt said:That's why us extreme extremists can at least agree on a thing or two.
I have to say, the communists around these parts are far more polite than in the forum I used to frequent. They were however all Europeans, so that may explain it.
What do you think about the inclusion of the two questions I proposed should be in the Political Compass? I'd enjoy hearing your opinions on them.

There have been a few nasty commies on this site, but most don't post anymore.
What were these two questions, I looked around this thread but couldn't find them, could you clarify what they are? Please.
Political Compass:
Economic Left/Right: +10.00
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -6.92
I would have liked to see two more questions. 1) Something along the lines of Hate Speech Laws, display of the Confederate flag or Swastika. 2) A question about gun control.
curt said:They were buried within my post.
It's a little vague because I wouldn't know how to phrase these question properly. If you don't want to bother, then I won't hold it against you.
Arts&Sciences said:Have either of you read my platform? It might "convert" you to centrism.
Arts&Sciences said:If I may, I'll answer the questions directed at Brian. If you have read my platform, you know that I oppose gun control. Regarding hate speech, I would allow for some laws against it, but I would enforce them only against influential and prominent commentators, artists and so forth.
Arts&Sciences said:I need to form a party of diehard centrists- moderates who are uncompromising in being moderate and won't give an inch until utter and total moderation is achieved in this country (0.25, -1.38).
