Best team: Laker's

Even though LA is the more athletic team on the whole, being NBA champions give the Celtics the edge. Phil is obviously the better coach, and the Laker's bench is the best in the NBA (IMHO).

Teamwork: ----------------------------------------------> Boston (this is the most important of them all)

I thought Radmonovich was starting and Odom was the 6th man? Am I wrong?

I based it on minutes per game...

Proper coaching ensures good teamwork. The triangle offense with post presence, and athletic forwards to get back on defense (due to the positioning) is being executed to near perfection by LA.

However i do agree, coaching is extremely important. Even if you have good players, a lesser quality coach will get a lesser amount of production from a team. You will be hard pressed to prove a specific aspect of the game such as "coaching" more important than other aspects.

Anyone who thinks Fisher is equal to Rondo is plain wrong.

Boston is clearly the better team and will show it tomorrow night

Were you hear before? If yes, how did you erase all of your post count? If not, how did you get the user name of another DP poster? Maybe that one is GoldenBoy.

Fisher has more court sense and Rondo is the better athlete.

Tomorrow will be interesting.

I actually did see another Golden Boy but he has 219 after his name. I wasnt aware of him when I created the account.

Fisher may have more experience, but thats all I will give him.

Rondo has become a very confident player and a valid mention in the new "Big Four" the Celtics have. He is a better scorer, a better passer, and creates more plays for his team. If he can settle down a bit more and take away the turnovers some games then he will become one of the leagues best PGs.

The Lakers need to find a way to control Rondo and negate the Cs passing edge. If the Lakers can do both, they will probably win the game. If the Lakers can do one, it should be close. If they can't do either, they could get blown out of the building.

The Lakers depend too much on a single player where the Celtics can get star performances from any of four players.

This early in the season, the game doesn't mean nothin'.

Here we go again with Billo and his Fakers again. I will not soon forget the utter look of helplessness on the face of Kobe in game six of the Finals last year. The championship will go through Boston again. If the Fakers want to win, they will have to TAKE it from the champs. KG, The Truth and company don't look like they will give it up willingly.

Here is the line for Jack Nicholson from last year's finals.

"You want THE TRUTH, you can't handle THE TRUTH!"

GO C's - Drive for EIGHTEEN!

The Lakers beat the Celtics by 9, Cavs by 17, and Spurs by 14 with Kobe not playing in the fourth quarter... they haven't beaten the other 3 best teams in the NBA what else do you want?

5 months later.....

Lakers are now in the Finals with game one tallied up in their favor.

This one here is for you Bill-o! :drink
