I don't mean to bust Alex Trebek's balls, but he made a mistake today on Jeopardy! In the Final Jeopardy round, the catagory on the far right was titled "Principals." The names of the two principle actors in a movie were given and the contestants were asked to guess the name of the movie. But "principals" is actually the plural of the title for a person who runs a school. That none of the contestants caught this is especially ironic since they were all teachers.

Edit: Never mind. I just looked it up and "principal" does mean a lead actor.

This is embarrassing. Maybe you should ask to have the thread deleted. :)

I can't believe that I've been spelling that word wrong my whole life. And I was so sure of myself! I was dancing around my living room beating on my chest in triumph. I couldn't wait to get on my computer and tell everybody at Debate Politics that I had caught the infallible Alex Trebek in a mistake.
