Oh, I dunno. Economics perhaps? It's not a charity y'know. What do you think the reason Al Jazeera hasn't tried to get into South America and Central America? Also We use to have UPI overseas.
Because they are their competitors? Why would MSNBC call Fox biased?Several Mainstream media Sources accuse of Al Jazeera of being bias with their Reporting. Which included the Asian times and the BBC saying the Same. Now why would the Asian times Say so if they didn't think they were?
They are journalists. They have no responsibility to do the CIA's work for them. Also Al Jazeera has been contacted by Groups that have held Hostages and their Sources Refuse to give up where the Terrorists or Kidnappers are. Do you think that is accurate reporting if they are only willing to let those holding the captives dictate what can be released with the reporting?
[Now this is a stupid move IMO. Any reason for Gore Selling out to the Arabs and Al Jazeera? Just what we need today our kids in this country watching Pan Arab Television and their broadcasting. Anyone else think this a good idea?
Aljazeera is pretty much owned by the dictator nations of qatar and saudi arabia. So it will be a mouth piece for those repressive governments. So to go along with the zionist propaganda that is fox and cnn Americans will also be exposed to islamist propaganda. A lose-lose situation.
I suggest a better source: RT America
Give it a chance, i think it is unfair to compare Putin to the dictators in the mideast. I find RT to be honest compared to aljazzera or fox news.RT? The mouthpiece of the Putin dictatorship? Sure, much better source.

Actually they are in the works with doing this..
Aint that a movie company?
Which Al Jazeera? The Arabic or the English one? The English version which is relevant here, is not totally unbiased, but it is certainly one of the two (the BBC being the other) most unbiased news organisations out there. Plus they also cover far more of the world than the usual crap from the main stream news outlets.
That was Al Jazeera in Arabic and so what? They are a news organisation and terrorist want coverage. If it aint Al Jazeera then it would be someone else. And it is not like Al Jazeera sympathizes with Al Q or terrorists.. quite the opposite. Are you saying a tape with the most wanted man on the planet rambling on about stuff is not news?
Which does not happen. Almost all Al Jazeera reporting has comments from both sides. In fact I would say that I see more Israeli representatives on Al Jazeera in English when it comes to the cluster**** in Palestine, than I do any where else. And Al Jazeera challenges both sides on their hypocrisy.
All you have stated here is the typical propaganda crap that Romney and Bush Jr pushed when they realized they could not control the station in the lead up to and after the invasion of Iraq. Ironically Al Jazeera was praised by the very same people before they started thinking of invading Iraq..
Still they report that story from those that hold the hostages and follow their demands. Also I am sure local Police forces in certain areas would be interested in having such information.
Also it isn't like Currant TV is that big as it is.
Also I am sure Adults know how to change the channel when they don't like something. I still don't think that plays our for young kids tho.
With South and Central America.....do you think it has to do with those nations Not Putting up with attacks upon their Religions and any Christians?
Did you forget some of their Programming? Recall the Mickey Mouse scenarios that were being ran. School Children's programs with the propaganda concerning the west. It's not all about news in getting this Broadcast.....Correct?

Which Al Jazeera often gave when they could. I dont think you realize how the information got to the channel...
It is not about the size of the channel.. it is about its slot on cable systems, which is why what Time Warner has done is very damaging.
Are your kids dumb then?
LOL how about you start watching the channel before you talk? Al Jazeera are a thorn in the side of Chavez and other governments because it often exposes their corruption and things that they would rather not talk about. South and Central America needs a Spanish version of Al Jazeera that is for sure.
That was the Hamas tv station...
BBC NEWS | Middle East | Hamas 'Mickey Mouse' killed off
get your facts right.
Are you attempting to say Qatar who runs the Show wont have any other Broadcasting?
Eh? It was a Hamas linked TV station in the Gaza strip that was responsible for what you claim.. has nothing to do with Qatar and Al Jazeera. That is like saying CNN is responsible for Pat Robertson calling for the assassination of world leaders.
