Such lovely birds. Besides being bright red, they also have such a distinctive call. There's a very vocal one that mostly resides in my back yard, but unlike yourself, I have been unable to take a snap.

A pair of cardinals live in one of the trees on my frontage. The male is considerably a brighter red than the female. They are a beautiful couple. Close by in another tree live a pair of doves.

Its only 80 deg here. But tonight its gonna drop to the mid 60's with a high of 79 to 81 for Christmas eve....
