Jennifer Vasquez Sura, the wife of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, said she fears for her family's safety after verbal attacks from Donald Trump and government officials.

The wife of a Maryland man who was deported to El Salvador by mistake said she and her family were forced to move to a safe house after the Department of Homeland Security exposed her address on its official X account.

"I don't feel safe when the government posts my address, the house where my family lives, for everyone to see, especially when this case has gone viral and people have all sorts of opinions," Jennifer Vasquez Sura told The Washington Post.

imo, what the "left" did was not right to publish the addresses of members of the SC. That does not make what make it right for someone in the government to release the home address of a citizen. That also is not right.

How exactly was what happened to Kavanaugh Schumer's fault? I'm gonna need some details on that one.

Secondly, even if you want to use that incident as some sort of barometer....consider for a second the guy who was going to do it actually called the police on himself, told them what he was planning on doing, and stayed on the phone until the police got there and arrested him without incident. I'm going to need you to give me a case where a conservative with the plan to do something similar DIDN'T do it and turned themselves in without incident. Until you can do that, even your own example is piss poor at best for painting liberals as sleezy.

Abrego Garcia, illegally entered, after living here illegally for 7 years he applied and was denied asylum by an immigration judge,(law says you have to apply within a year), he was given a deportation order, and then a liberal judge put a withholding order on his deportation. He had due process.
Two judges declared that he was a member of TDA, which is on the terror watch list. Deportation of individuals on the terrorist watch list who are not legal residents is handled through a process outlined in the Terrorist Deportation Act of 2021. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is responsible for determining deportation, and they can expedite the process for those on the terrorist watch list.

• Individuals on the terrorist watch list are ineligible for certain immigration benefits like asylum, cancellation of removal, or adjustment of status.

In a document titled the "Gang Field Interview Sheet", the local police detailed their observations.

They said Mr Abrego Garcia was wearing a "Chicago Bulls hat and a hoodie with rolls of money covering the eyes, ears and mouth of the presidents on the separate denominations".

Officers claimed the clothing was "indicative of the Hispanic gang culture" and that "wearing the Chicago Bulls hat represents that (sic) they are a member in good standing with the MS-13".

But wearing the logo of the hugely popular basketball team, he added, is of course not exclusive to the gang.

"Any assertions about gang affiliation would need to be corroborated with testimony, criminal history, and other corroborating evidence," Mr Dudley said.
In October 2019 he was granted a "withholding of removal" order, court documents show - a status different from asylum, but one which prevented the US government from sending him back to El Salvador because he could face harm.

Mr Abrego Garcia's lawyers say that he was granted the status based on his "well-founded" fear of persecution by Barrio-18, the main rival gang of MS-13.

According to the field interview sheet and other court documents, officers said they were also advised by a "proven and reliable source" that Mr Abrego Garcia was an active member of MS-13's "westerns clique", with the rank of "chequeo".

However, Mr Dudley says that a "chequeo" is not a rank but is instead used to refer to recruits who are yet to be initiated.
