There's another thread discussing the upcoming parade in DC. This poll is a chance to see exactly what kind of support this event has.

Three choices:
 
It is an incredible FU middle finger to the millions of people who Trump is busy reducing support for and making poorer through his tariffs and tax cuts. Problem is that many of his supporters are so dumb that they won't work that out until their pantries are bare. But even then Trump will convince them that it is really the evil Dems that are starving their families. As the saying goes, you can't fix stupid!

Traitor trump, Donnie 2 Dolls, told his suckers their votes don't count. They confuse easily and likely thought that he meant forum polls too. Like him, they are not very bright.

That said, no, I don't think the parade is necessary BUT every president has the authority to organize and participate in events celebrating national milestones. Such as the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary on June 14, 2025, which coincides with his 79th birthday and Flag Day.

The Constitution grants the president broad executive powers, including the ability to direct federal resources for ceremonial events. Don't let the facts rain on your parade. ;)
