The usual disclaimer is to distinguish between that military/leadership and the public. Unfortunately in this case, that would be mostly not correct.

As I posted in a thread (I think) there is nearly a blackout on the situation in Gaza in Israel media. It's been said everywhere in the world is covering the massacre except there.

A former head of the IDF has just publicly criticized the IDF's tactics.

Israel's friends are finding it very difficult to excuse the obliteration of Gaza and the mounting deaths of Gazan civilians and IDF soldiers.

Prime Minister Netanyahu's recent declaration that he opposes a two-state solution is (as the diplomats say) "unhelpful."
