I think most people would prefer “socialism” as the U.S. has practiced it for over 100 years with things like Medicare, Medicaid, the VA, EBT cards any number of TANF provisions, Section 8 housing, etc., etc.. OVER the current “fascism” the U.S. is now demonstrating to the rest of the world.

Renditioning people to foreign gulags. A Supreme Court now saying the Brown Shirts can profile you based solely upon the language you are speaking or your obvious Latino appearance. Organizers of various venues Herr Trump might attend such as the U.S. Open Tennis tourney being told to restrict live visual/audio of his highness receiving an unfriendly welcome. Media being threatened at every turn over possible lawsuits if Der Furher is depicted unfavourably in news articles catching him lying . . .again.

So many examples of “fascism” within the U.S. to highlight, with more examples popping up on a daily basis.

The U.S. is the veritable poster child for modern “fascism”.

I’ll happily endorse the “idiot’ definition of “Canadian socialism” over what the basement dwellers are embracing today.

He's not gonna admit anything, and for good reason. Any admission - no matter how trivial - would be like offering a vein to a bunch of drooling vampires. The socialist lost the election, despite the fact that they lost it by endlessly lying. But they can't bear to take responsibility for it or anything they do, so now it's all about him

The Epstein scandal was a major focus of Donald's campaign. MAGAs all demanded the release of data, convinced Democrats were hiding something.

And then suddenly Donald pivoted, told his MAGAs to forget about it, there were no files and they were weak and stupid for continuing to discuss it. His MAGA minions have lied about not having the files, and even made the stupid suggestion that yes Donald was involved with Epstein but only as an FBI informant.

Sorry, you'll have to forgive those of us whose brains haven't been squeezed by the red hat when we think Donald may once again be full of shit about something.

That’s certainly not the reason for this ongoing saga.

This stemmed from the magasphere, right up until the moment dear leader told them to shut up about Epstein.

It was a major issue especially during the election, with the magasphere claiming dear leader was going to be releasing the files and all those ‘elites’, democrats/celebrities were going to be going down.

So much so that in February the WH put on a big photo op smoke and mirrors charade, inviting maga darling influencers to the WH to out binders titled “Phase 1 of the Epstein Files”. Those maga darlings boasted about getting this bombshell information but later learned that what they were actually given was nothing more than what had already been known.

Then there’s Maga Leader Loomer spilling the beans that Bondi and Bongino had a major blowout over releasing the files, that Bongino was considering quitting, with Loomer leading the charge calling for Bondi to be fired.

Then dear leader threatened/ordered them to all shut up about Epstein and to leave Bondi alone, which they did.
