I respect myself deeply. I'm not perfect and I can always get better. But I'm a pretty amazing dude.

I think the people that I get to be friends with are lucky and I am too because they're good people. And many of them don't think at all like I do, and I like that.

The moment you said it was okay for the FCC chief to shut someone down because you didn't like their opinion, you stopped qualifying as an American.

I mean, you're still a citizen of the United States, but that's not the same thing.

The reaction to the CK murder has been the last straw for he right. What Kimmel said is JUST as true about what the left has been doing for this entire week. In fact that's what he was doing right there. Pinning the responsibility for the shooter on "MAGA". "One of their own ".

Using the same smug superior tone the right has grown accustomed to hearing as regular people have been labeled uneducated, racists, supremacists, nazis and on and on by talking heads like Kimmel and Colbert and so on.

And ironically as the left begins to panic as they hear DJT fail to "call for us all to mend fences and 'lower temps'" but instead takes an eye for an eye approach. Yet they do not realize in the SLIGHTEST that their drumbeat rhetoric had just as much to do with the mess we are in as anything the right has done. Even though that's the same argument they've been using to remind the right that Charlie died because of his own words. "Kirk deserved it" and obviously the shooter was a right wing extremist.

Chickens are coming home to roost for BOTH sides. I hate it. But at least I can SEE it.

Finally, the money behind these shows not only needs the slimmest excuse to can them, but driven by obvious market forces, has realized before the bleating sheep public that a SIGNIFICANT portion of the population, tired of being dehumanized by the smug elites are no longer buying this garbage.

Money talks. And the smart money knows when to cash out.

You know, if it's slander you're concerned about, there's a remedy for that. Prior court cases aren't your friend, though. Hence the MAGA party's desire to just use the threat of regulatory force instead. It's a business decision only in the sense that businesses now realize we're living in a brave new world where an administration uses its regulatory powers to silence critics outright.
