I guess Canada must have a higher percentage of people who are willingly law-abiding. It is not the guns that are the problem. It is the people. I would love you to present evidence that a gun can do ANYTHING of its own volition. Anything at all.

They're not forbidden here. My son has a license for a handgun. Forget about a permit to carry it outside your house, though, ain't gonna happen. Mostly because no-one here wants it to happen.

I might get struck by lightening, but I'm not worried about it.
Vancouver is the nearest big city and it's pretty rough, being a seaport and entry point for the drug trade but there's literally nowhere my white ass can't go, day or night. There's been a spate of gun fire around there lately and the victims have all been young males 'known to the police'.
My only beef with our laws is that I can't take a handgun hunting but that's about it.
Our laws wouldn't work in your country. Don't pretend that our country would be better off with your laws.
