A remarkable number of people don’t want Joe Biden to run again

Which part? The 'not a heartbeat' part, which is correct? Or the stupid part that the sound is manufactured for that reason?
Both

That was the reality, no matter how much you want to lie about it. How sad that, as pathetic as Biden is according to you, Trump couldn't beat him.
Because the machine intervened. It is what it is.

You don't understand, that was then, and this is now. And the average republican that would vote for someone like Trump or Desantis is rarely if ever concerned with rank hypocrisy. Just tell them what they want to hear now. That's it.
True, then there are true Conservatives, Independents and Democrats

I didn't want him to be the Dem nominee in the first place. Too old.
Neither did I, but not primarily because of his age. There were better candidates, IMO.

Still, nearly 2 years into his administration, I’ve never had a moments regret voting for Biden.

He sucks. Admit it and move on.
Nowhere near as much as his opponent.

Hell, compared to Traitor Trump any other candidate that ran in ‘20 would’ve been an infinitely better choice.

Oh, so lies are all you have, maybe if you didn't lie so much, your arguments would have more weight. But you only lie, and your lying posts are naked. Quit lying.

That’s a bold face lie ^^^^^^^^^ x5

Finally America is coming around to their senses. They are saying pound sand to the Covid booster and turning the page on old man racist, Biden.

Nobody likes him anymore, or maybe they never did.

---------------------------------------------

President Joe Biden insists that he hasn’t made up his mind whether to run for a second term. But the public sure has.
Almost three in four Americans (72%) said that they do not want Biden to run again in 2024, according to a new national Marquette Law School poll released on Thursday, a striking number – especially when you consider that Biden’s approval rating in the same poll was relatively solid (for him) at 45%.
It’s not then that large swaths of the American public think Biden is doing a terrible job and want him out. It’s just that people – across the political spectrum – don’t want him to run again in two years’ time.
While Republicans are unsurprisingly keen on Biden bowing out (88% don’t want him to run again), so too are independents (79% don’t want him to run again). And even among Biden’s Democratic base, his numbers on the question are middling, with 52% saying he should run again and the other 48% saying he should not.
Polls conducted over the summer from CNN and the New York Times/Siena College found that large majorities of Democrats wanted to the party nominate someone other than Biden for president in 2024.

Most Americans don't want Biden nor Trump to run again.

From the Article – “Most Americans don’t want either President Biden or his predecessor, former President Donald Trump, to run for the White House again in 2024, according to a new Harvard CAPS/Harris poll shared exclusively with The Hill.

Two-thirds of voters surveyed – 67 percent – said that Biden shouldn’t seek another term in the Oval Office, with nearly half citing their belief that he’s a bad president as the reason why. Another 30 percent said it’s simply because Biden, who would be 84 by the time he takes the Oath of Office again, is too old for the job.

Trump, meanwhile, doesn’t fare much better when it comes to a 2024 run. Fifty-seven percent said that the former president shouldn’t mount another bid for the White House, despite his repeated hints that he plans to do so.

When it comes to the reason why most voters aren’t keen on another Trump White House run, respondents were divided. Thirty-six percent said that it’s because he is “erratic,” while another 33 percent said they believe he will divide the country. Nearly as many – 31 percent – pointed to his role in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.”

For myself, I’m among them. I don’t want to see either one run again. If they do, I’ll vote third party against both. It’s time to turn over the leadership to a younger generation, time for a new, fresh, younger face. This also goes for the leadership in congress, all needs to be replaced.

Its just that Biden is such a great president and the country needs him so bad.

Fact not in evidence
Stop looking for “evidence” at gatewaypundit, Breitbart, unTruth, and other alt/far right propaganda mills where no truth exists.

I’d say no. Biden to me and to a lot of other swing voters, Biden was a safe bet to get rid of Trump. That is why we voted for him, to get rid of Trump. His mission has been accomplished. Swing voters, independents voted for Biden by a 54-41 margin. Trump had to go. 2024, perhaps the swing voters will feel they’ve had enough of Biden like in 2020 they had enough of Trump. I think as long as Trump isn’t Biden opponent, swing voters, independent will vote Republican if Biden is the 2024 Democratic nominee. If Biden opponent is Trump, like in 2016 you’ll have a lot of swing voters voting third party against both major party candidates.

I think there is a big difference in why they do not want Trump or Biden to run. Most people are just plain tired of Trump and what he has done to the country. That is why he lost in 2020. With Biden it is they think that a younger man should run and that Biden is just too old.

I agree if Biden is the democratic nominee, and Trump is not for the pubbies, there will be a lot of swing votes up for grabs. But if it winds up being Desantis, not so sure he's going to grab a majority of swing voters. He is almost as loathseom as Trump. And also bear in mind, if Trump does run- and I think he will, the primary process will be brutal and the Trump lemmings despise anyone who opposes their beloved leader on anything.

No, I think below is a classic DeSantis asshole move. Americans will soon pay more attention to.

DeSantis said: “So I actually spoke with the president and he said he wants to be helpful. So we did submit a request for reimbursement for the next 60 days at 100%. That’s significant support, but it’s a significant storm.

“So I’ll work with anybody who wants to help the people of south-west Florida and throughout our state.”

Critics were quick to point back to Hurricane Sandy, which battered the east coast 10 years ago, and how DeSantis approached the matter of federal aid then.

DeSantis was elected to Congress in November 2012, becoming a founding member of the Freedom Caucus, the far-right House group which would morph into the nest of Trump supporters and election deniers it constitutes today.

Sandy hit in late October, unusually far north, bringing chaos to New Jersey and New York and leading to more than 100 US deaths. Months later, in January 2013, DeSantis was one of 67 Republicans to vote against a $9.7bn federal aid package for Sandy victims.

And……??

Trump was the worst President and most dishonest President in the countries history. BIDEN is a truly great President. Just old.

I think the problem is that most folks don’t understand why Biden was elected. Or maybe they do, they just want to ignore the fact Biden was elected to oust Trump. That’s all. The long and short of it. Then to be a transition president between Trump and whoever comes next. Biden was a very acceptable candidate to swing voters, the non-affiliated, less to nonpartisan group. They thought they were getting a moderate Democrat to replace Trump who was an obnoxious, uncouth, rude lout. What they didn’t expect from Biden was him pushing the progressive agenda. His job was to get rid of Trump, then smile and act presidential until someone replaced him in 2024. Which explains why Biden is riding at a 42% overall job approval. He was at 55% for his first six months when all he did was smile, pushing no agenda. Then he began his leftward agenda push, his approval fell among independents. He fell from a high of 58% in April 2021 and 55% in June 2021 down to a low of 31% from independents in July of 2022. He’s recovered some to a 39% approval today by independents.

This recovery is only because Trump became a headline news star at the beginning of August reminding independent why they disliked Trump so much. I think one needs to look at how independents voted in 2020 to realize that 2020 was an anti-Trump election, not a pro-Biden or Democratic election. 41% of independents voted for Trump, but 48% voted for Republican congressional candidates, 51% for Republican senate candidates and 52% for Republican governor candidates. The Republicans gained 13 house seats, a governorship and 2 state legislature all the while having their presidential candidate lose by 7 plus million votes. Only the second time in our history that a president won the popular vote while losing house seats. Grover Cleveland back in 1884 was the first, he won the popular vote my a mere 58,000 votes while losing 8 house seats. Biden won by 7 plus million and lost 13 house seats. Biden also won what I call the anti-vote by a 68-30 margin over Trump. Those who vote against a candidate, but not for any candidate. Just against, any name other than the candidate they’re voting against will do. As long as the candidate they’re voting against loses, they don’t care who won. The fact is, those who voted for a candidate because they wanted their candidate to win, Trump won those voters 53-46 over Biden. Just be thankful for the anti-vote, without those who just voted against a candidate, not for a candidate, Biden wouldn’t be president now. Heck, Joe Biden, Atilla the Hun, these anti-voters would have voted for them as long as their last name wasn’t Trump.
