You posted a map which I assumed was for PSA reasons as you included nothing that you wished to speak about. I thought I would be neighborly and post additional info for any people who may not realize the dangers of wildlife while vacationing.

Looks like a map of US population centers. I bet if you substituted data for traffic fatalities, it would look almost exactly the same.

Hi, Fearandloathing.

The annual number of deaths and woundings by gunshot in the United States of America stands far above those of other modern democracies. Few would consider that to be something to brag about. What should also be a matter of concern is the unwillingness of many of my fellow citizens to press their legislators for action intended to significantly reduce these levels.

The map in the OP holds much information. Patterns in various cities are one feature.
