A flag question(Part one of 7)

What is your opinion on the Japanese Rising Sun Flag?

I don't believe that flag is in use.

This is the Japanese flag.

You have a pic of the flag they used in WWII.

If this is in regards to the confederate flag, the confederate flag was created and only existed for the southern states insurrection to protect slavery.

The Japanese rising sun flag existed previous to the Fascist Japanese regime. It's still now associated with WW2 Japan though.

I find it a bit harsh and would have gone with softer red rays, personally. The other issue is that the sun is too low - if you're truly trying to convey a rising sun, then you need to place it above the horizontal centerline.

It's pretty obvious to everyone that you're attempting some kind of gotcha.
That usually doesn't go well, hence my advice about deleting the thread.

It's one of those things where a MAGA attempts to setup an elaborate 7-step trap to own the leftist filth, but then they face-plant on step 2. I personally find it enjoyable to watch, and encourage the attempts.
 
Chinese and Koreans are not to pleased to see that flag, much like most Europeans don't the the nazi flags
 
Here's my Gen AI alternative if I were to give it a refresh. I want the sun to be a bit more powerful and energetic, highlight Japan's technological acumen, and of course get some kaiju action going. The original is okay as flags go, but this one is far superior. Pull this up the mast of naval warship and nobody's gonna mess with you.

To me, that flag is like the Confederate battle flag.
A great deal of tradition on the losing side.
And I am glad they both lost.
